Comparing Customer Service of Energy Retailers

I am in the process of comparing different retailers and have gotten some great rates from Origin Energy, AGL and Lumo Energy and Momentum Energy.

As a course of reason I am only dealing directly with the retailers themselves rather than through any intermediary.

I have read mixed reviews for Origin, AGL and Lumo, and wanted to get a bit of advice on whether other Ozbargainers had negative experiences in terms of incorrect meter readings, application of discounts, power outages, not receiving bills.

My experience so far leads me to find that AGL are horrible to deal with as I have already experienced their nonsense, but Origin, Lumo and Momentum seem good.

Given I have a smart reader I imagine that most of the issues of incorrect readings are eliminated

My only previous provider is APG (but their rates are far higher than the others can offer me, and they won't price match)
