CamelCamelCamel.Yes. The active ingredient is Transfluthrin, which is dangerous to cats.

How efficient it works?
Highly effective at killing cats
https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B077BSG7S5/?coliid=I2B7S5JYRD61… this is better value when on special. If you use it regularly and have the actual device as well. Because this is 480 hours for around $9 when on special vs only 200 hours in this.
That's the refill, not the unit. If you compare refill to refill, then they should be similar when on sale.
I understand that… I could not find refills for it at all. But in any case, if you use it regularly refills are 99% of the running cost.
Anyone has a good way to repel flies while cooking? They literally swarm around my windows when I cook meat. I have been using this barrier spray some times directly at them, but they don’t seem to be bothered at all. It gives me goose bumps every time it happens and I had to shut the windows. They are never interested in naughty foods like pizza or whatever goes into the air fryer.
Fly screens.
Or get a fly trap, hang it outside you kitchen window and hope they go for that instead of your food.
As a band aid fix, I installed this last autumn and it's been good.

There is a fly screen, which makes it look like a horror movie because they land on it and try to break in. It worries me that they might also lay eggs around the windows.
Prevents insect infestations by killing cockroaches, ants and spiders for up to 6 months inside and outside the home. It is ready to use with no dilution or mixing required.
Thats probably why the flies arent phased by them.
I've used this for my parents outdoor kitchen and it helped a bit. Got filled up but I can't be sure it just didn't attract more than there would've been otherwise. May help in tempting the flies away from your window.
Also, it absolutely reeks after just a few days so you constantly have to empty it out (disgusting job, made me want to throw up) and put a refills in which are not cheap.
That’s why I don’t use traps. Seeing a whole flock of them is already enough to make me feel eeky, imagine having to touch a container filled with dead bodies 😖😱🫥
one of those products.
they just change the shape of the vaporiser and refill to make the old refills not compatible. sometimes they will say they changed the "recipe".
but we all know it's corpo scam. if your old plug thing breaks and you have leftover refills too bad. buy the new ones and repeat.
Its only 9 bux jeez
I'm not talking about just this one product in general. but all products in this range, from all brands. e.g. I use the mortein one. they've changed it up 3 times already. first it was a screw in bottle, then they changed it to a slim card shaped thing, then they changed it back to a different screw in bottle.
I buy them only when on sale btw. normally $18~$20 for the refill, if I need it I wait until it's $7.50~$8.50. it's a regular sale cycle at coles.
Would this be dangerous if I had cats?
