    I hate modern Lego.
What's the point if every set has dozens of custom pieces? You might as well make it in one custom moulded piece and be done with it.

The entire beauty of Lego to me was the fact that there were maybe 100 different shaped pieces (if that) when I was a kid and you could build a near infinite amount of structures from it. If you lost a piece from one set, you simply found one in a minute in your big box of spare pieces.
Now though, if you lose a piece, there isn't a single different set of Lego out there which will have the same piece and you won't be able to build that set again if you don't buy an entire new one.

Almost. There's bricklink to buy pieces. But, yes, Lego has taken the new piece thing WAY too far.

    • I just hate the price; I can cop the unique pieces if they are easy enough to reorder.

      • On the Lego's site help section, you can tell them a missing or broken piece's code from its booklet and they send ya out that piece in an envelope for free.

I don't like the amount of colors, you can never find the right color. My kids lego is 15 shades of blue. My lego is blue, one color of blue.

Third party kits to make this a fully fledged Gameboy should be out next month.

    • Yep. From what I saw though, it's going to take skills. It's not pre-assembled if I recall, unless that has changed (and I hope it does because I don't have skills)

  • Why is it Super Mario game boy? It has Zelda as well.

$79 at Kmart with free shipping. Would take that over the crowds at Costco.

  • You could by a 2nd Hand DS for cheaper and actually play games!
