    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/274962146902

$309 delivered, but $30 off for eBay plus = $279.

This is the usual price on eBay or via some sellers own website.

  • i know people will say its not the same as costco has a membership….but pretty sure they have it for less for both the telstra + boost option which comes with a $30 costco gift card

    • Not sure how much by any chance?

i believe there is/was a non end date 'promotion' where the telstra one was $269 + GC and boost was……$249?? maybe?? it was several weeks ago

  • I already have a Telstra monthly plan, is it possible to port the number to this SIM?

    • +1

You'd have to port your number to the Vodafone (or other carrier) SIM, then to this prepaid SIM.

YMMV when it comes to essentially a sim swap if the rep will do it for you (which i have had done) or give you hassle

if you need to be on the telstra network you can easily port to boost and back as i have done this regularly

Thanks for the replies. Is there any disadvantage to this compared to Telstra monthly? My partner uses theirs for work and often needs to take time-sensitive calls/messages when in regional australia. So can't compromise on coverage or prioritisation.

        • if in relation to being on boost i can give a lengthly explanation as to possible differences and many will claim its the exact retail network, which i say its true on a technicality…

but personally if coverage is actually an important factor stay on the actual Telstra service

if you cant get a sim swap happening, get like a cheap $5-10 sim provider to port out then port back in on a weekend or something….

  • The main deal seems to $315 AUD now , instead of $299
