How does this ink compare with the original canon ink refills though i.e. quality and quantity?

Sorry for the late reply. I use the same for my own printer since the original ones ran out, I am quite happy with the quality. With regards to the quantity, it really depends on how you use it. On average, I believe it can do roughly 50 pages for the colors and 300-350 pages for the black.
