you think the marketing team would have taken a photo of the inside of the dishwasher.

  • Does anyone have this dishwasher and can comment on how it performs? I've currently got a SOLT dishwasher and the thing is absolute garbage.

      We had the older model
Honestly for $300 it definitely got its moneys worth
It lasted us a good 6 years before we sold it for $50 but it was still going good
It cleaned well with aldis tablets
We used it daily sometimes twice a day. Never had an issue.

    • I've got a Stirling in my house that we inherited from the old owners and its pretty terrible. I wouldn't buy one to use myself, really just investment property tier stuff. My old Bosch was way better.

    • Paid 370 last year, does the job. We use aldi’s tablets and rinse aid.

Just a minor difference,……"Stirling 12 Place, not Plate"

Is this stand alone or needs to be on cupboards?

    • +2

I think you'd struggle to find a cupboard that can hold this.

You guys can thank me for this deal. I had been holding out for months and months, waiting for a cheap dishwasher deal like this.
But I finally had to admit defeat and bought one near retail price. Nek minute. You're welcome.

      Never go full ret-ail

  • Would someone who's never plumbed but happy to watch some youtube be able to rig this up in a kitchen without a dishwasher? Power & waste water should be fine I would think - the fresh water I'm assuming a splitter would exist from the basin tap?

    • +1

There is usually a separate tap in the cabinet under the sink. If not, it might be possible to add a splitter and a small tap that you can turn the water off to the dishwasher. Other than that it should be relatively easy.

      • Nah this is a 50yo kitchen. Needing a dedicated tap makes sense though. Sounds like a job for a dodgy Fiver plumber.

        • you can get short, flexible braided lines that make it totally doable if you can handle a shifter. use a bit of silicon thread tape, an inline tap and you'll be fine.

  • Can this be attached to the Laundry tub to drain and inlet to the Water inlet that could be used with a washing machine? Our rental doesnt have a D/W and we have to handwash. hoping we can use this instead?

    • +3

Yes I have done this before with a dishwasher. You can even get a tee pieces so both DW and washing machine can share the I/O.

      • Thanks mate. any links for the tee piece? or is it easily available at bunnings?

        • +1

          bunnings'll have what you're after

if you're unsure grab a snap of all the inlets you want to adapt and take it in when you go
