Normal mixers are bad because they beat the eggs and whip the cream. This portable hand mixer is good, because it struggles to do that.

    • But you can carry on struggling to whip & beat everywhere you go now!

    • True. These underpowered devices are the solution to “how to mix and achieve nothing”

    • This cant beat eggs?

It can. But it won't be any better than you with a whisk (unless you're Mr Burns).

Well that really does depend… I could give a 240v a run for it's money with my right back in my day, but this would take me down no problems in the left. I'd had plenty of practice… Working as a chef! The only time I ever used a whisk in 8 years was making baernaise for two for dinner before service. This is why powered kitchen equipment exists. If you've ever been to a pub or bistro and had mash, its not mash I guarantee you. Unless the kitchen has a work experience kid in, otherwise its industrial-sized stick-blendered potato

        • he's still struggling choosing between Catsup & Ketchup.

  • thanks! bought one for missus

10,000 more Li-Ion batteries to landfill

    • +1

Yep, people will buy this becuase it's cheap and convinient, but it won't last nearly as long as a corded mixer.

      • That's a rather ill-informed conclusion to draw. But you're so right hand mixers are the single biggest contributors to lithium battery landfill…
Do speak to Mark Butler if you have any issues with battery waste, after j introducing laws under the guise to stop the sale of disposable vapes, they're easier and more convenient to access than ever before
