how does the fit compare? the 2's fit me perfectly, but the images i've seen of the 3's always "stick out" from the ear.
Own the APP-2, tried the APP-3 at the apple store, you can definitely feel it fill out your ear canals more. Another use might want to chime in for longer term wear.
It's definitely more noticeable with the newer one, I used to set and forget when wearing the APP2
The issue I had with APP2 was that it kept falling off my ears when exercising or running. I was hoping APP3 would improve. Happy with AP4 ANC in terms of fit.

Indeed, I upgraded from AP2 to AP3 and did side by side comparisons - sound quality, in ear fit, and NC are a step up.

Give this a shot. Go to accessibility settings -> audio -> and turn on headphone accommodations and then hit tune audio for vocal range and give it a shot. I was going to return my APP3s until I found this trick.

It changes the sound curve to one thats a bit more punchy.

A lot of people feel the sound quality on the APP-2 were more balanced (less emphasised bass and less harsh sibilance). Fit is also slightly less intrusive on APP-2 due to APP-3 having foam infused tips and a slightly deeper fit.
Intial release on firmware 8A356 had the APP3 had alot of bass (i would argue too much) and treble was a bit much and harsh sounding.
However since firmware 8A358 these two areas have been addressed with a toning down of the bass and the treble being tamed bring it alot closer to how APP2 sounded.
I am after airpods 4 if any one is aware of any discount for it. I have been checking main retailers but lowest recently was $188.

Since the initial release of the Airpods Pro 3 on firmware Version 8A356 the APP3 had alot of bass (i would argue too much) and treble was harsh sounding.
However since firmware version 8A358 which released about 3 weeks ago now APP3 is quite different bass response has been toned down and so has the treble which brings it alot closer to how the APP2 sounded.
The APP3 now sounds more balanced still has good bass response but not excessive and the treble has been tamed. (This is how they should of sounded on release to all reviewers)
I personally prefer the fit of APP3 (closer to how an IEM fits deeper in the ear canal) over APP1/APP2 however everyone has their own opinion on this matter.
I sold my APP2 and bought AP4 due to the poor fit of APP2 in my ear. Kept falling. Will try APP3 as I believe sound quality the difference between APP2 and AP4 is noticeable and I actually don’t mind more bass.

If they connect to your iPhone as AirPods Pro 3, have all the functionality of APP3, and have APP3 firmware - they are either 1. real, or 2. fakes that cost substantially more to produce than real ones, and are sold at a loss by some rich guy as an ill conceived and ultimately pointless prank.
EDIT: I guess you can never truly be certain
@homebrandjesus: Thought I'd jump in and say you can't tell the difference between reps and gens unless you have both side-by-side. It used to be that reps couldn't connect to iCloud for FindMy however I believe that's been fixed.

For whatever it's worth, I believe the pair from Techciti I received is genuine.
When I open the case lid next to my phone, I'm met with the option to pair them. I can see all of the APP3 options within my settings, firmware is up to date with the current version (8A358), a 1 year warranty is visible, Apple's check coverage website lists my serial number as APP3, ANC works really well (including conversation awareness), live translation also works, works with Find My, serial numbers within the settings matches the box, inside the case and on each earphone. I have a pair of APP1 as a point of reference. If these turn out to be fake, that's an extremely convincing replica.

Great price for amazing pods. Noise cancellation is a step up from the pro2, great wind noise suppression whilst cycling

Towards the end of the product life cycle, historically they have been sold for around that mark.
I bought my AirPods Pro (1st gen) off this deal in 2021 for $263.96 and I bought my AirPods Pro (2nd gen, USB-C) off this deal in 2023 for $264.60.
Earlier in August this year, Techciti were also clearing out APP2 USB-C models for $249 just before the APP3 were announced.
It will be quite a while before these hit close to $250 though and you won’t find a much better deal for now.
Anyone know if the call voice isolation is any better than the APP2? APP2 is not very good, on calls on the bus people can hear everything around me.
Everyone saying that AirPods Pro 3 noise cancellation was above Pro 2’s, I had the exact opposite experience. For me the fit wasn’t nearly as nice as the AirPods Pro 2 and there was no gain in audio experience in my experience. Sold them and went back to what was much more comfortable for me, the Pro 2’s.
I actually would love to see a decent sale on the Pro 2’s and would buy another pair in a heartbeat (mine are lightning and now 3yrs old).
They have held up so so well.
The only objective improvement I found was the battery life.. (around an extra 2 hours)The fit and sound signature is definitely different, but I wouldn't say better.. Also forget sleeping on your side with these they dig in like crazy.
Ok no I sometimes sleep with AirPods. This does not sound great to me!

Sound quality is similar. Main benefits of upgrading for me:
The fit is different, with the half-silicone, half-foam tips. I had to go down a size, and it felt a bit weird at first, but I’m used to it now.
