Was looking for more economic protein options now that I’ve finally finished the last bit of my Aminoz stash - it seems this deal is back
According to last post:
WPC/WPI blend, majority being WPC. Protein content - chocolate: 75.1%, vanilla 77.9%

5% cashback at TopCashback sweetens the deal.
how much sugar and carbs is in this?
is it still on? It's been like this for the past month or more now I think.
Oh it's on, like Donkey Kong!
Yeah today is the last day I'm pretty sure
Doh
Lucky for me I guess just in time
Nobody posted lol I had been using aminoz/bulk nutrient for years but now the pricing all gone up need to look elsewhere
I wouldn't lie since switching to this I go to the toilet a lot more 😂
Bulk nutrient was a lot easier on my stomach.
Yes, same time with all the 1/2 prices protein as the previous INC post
So you knew about this sale earlier but didn't post it?
It was posted weeks ago, same for the INC ones 🤷
This would have been a dupe if that was the case.
I did not like the Chocolate of this at all, glad I only bought 1kg.
INC i think is just way more palatable
Same here it was quite average. I’ve just discovered the muscle nation protein powder and have been loving it
Was curious about the muscle nation protein water. Maybe next time
Costco has the Muscle Nation protein water for $89 for 1.8kg the best price i have seen for that. The Mango and Passionfruit is very nice
@Mammal: Is the protein water basically just juice I guess? I couldn’t understand the appeal for it when you can just get whey protein which id assume would be more filling
@JacobAU: The main benefit i can see is no chalky/gritty texture of plant protein , and is easier to digest than normal protein (no dairy). Also has collagen, electrolytes and bcaa if you care.
Looking for a good deal on L - Arganine.
Can folks here recommend supplier at reasonable prices?
You seem like nice guy. I give you best price…
😂
You remind me of that RE4 Merchant
lol
34-50
50 cents a-lotta money!
Bulk Nutrients is generally well priced. No free shipping which is annoying so I make sure I order everything in one go.
Thanks
How does this taste compared to Optimum Nutrition. I have the vanilla ice cream flavour and it is elite!
Good question I haven’t had ON gold for maybe 10 years lol
Some of the worst protein i've ever tasted. Stick to ON imo
I find musashi better on the stomach. ON equiv also has more sugar from memory, too.
easy on stomach
Tbh I kinda tempted to get the Inc plant based one to try even though I’ve always hated plant based stuff since it’s so gritty
@Jimothy Wongingtons: Don't do it. It's horrendous, both taste and texture. I have a giant tub I'm struggling to use up, and normally I'm a garbage guts.
If you're really keen to try it find sample sizes or small tubs.
Their casein protein is great though, and it's really helping me cut down on snacking as well.
@SuspendedSale: Agree. I've just finished an INC plant based chocolate and moved to Musashi. The INC is awful. I'm sorry I bought 2 at the time.
I have been using this since Jan and continue to like the taste. But might be personal preference.
Musashi tastes like baby formula/milk powder. It’s still fine if you just want to give it a try, but nowhere near the smooth, creamy taste of ON vanilla. I tried Musashi and went back to Muscletech, and decided not to try any Musashi products again. Would’ve stuck with ON if it wasn’t so overpriced.
Prob doesn’t matter now that don’t do their offers but aminoz had the best vanilla I ever tried
Cool, this is helpful. ON is double the price which is crazy but given 2kg lasts months and months I think its worth it given its actually enjoyable to drink.
Omg ON Banana Cream flavour is so good sometimes I have it just for fun without working out lol
This or INC for $62!
INC For sure
This or BSC for $62 1.8kg?
BSC tastes good and has the digestive enzymes if you are lactose intolerant. Haven't tried Musashi yet.
Nice, didn’t even think to check. 2-4 week back order it looks like though
Musashi energy drinks are also on sale
I don’t mind them but I liked the c4 ones better taste wise (c4 is on half price this week at Cole’s and I’m currently sipping on a purple frost)
Thanks, I'll give them a go.
Musashi not mentioned in the study but something to be aware of is the prevalence of high lead concentrations in tons of whey, due to contamination at the source globally.
If you're consuming lots (every day) might be worth to stick to known brands that have low amounts ON or Dymatize being some of them until more info on this comes out.
Thanks for that. Important to be aware of.
Isn’t musashi whey manufactured in New Zealand?
No lead in NZ 😆
What's the verdict Macro Mike or more specifically their new Kelloggs range that I keep seeing on Myspace Vines?
I have been curious about macro mike cereal collabs… but maybe I’ll just have coco pops and then a protein shake haha
From the marketing and ingredients, it looks like a vegan website for women?
Sadly, no more Aminoz deals…
Yes, haven’t heard from Jay for a very long time. My inbox still getting bombarded with marketing emails about new flavours and all that though…
Yeah also hoping for another aminoz deal, wonder why they have stopped
Not profitable I guess
Agreed - getting absolutely flogged with their marketing emails and video ads on Youtube.
Jay, if you're reading - please save some of that marketing cash, and use it for an Ozbargain discount instead!
@aminozcomau
respect the fact they are running a business, and their service is excellent, but unfortunately, at the moment, they can't complete. Been getting some deals on eBay via SSD-Direct Protein
Damn it, just bought 2 X 2kg for 75 each.
Option to return?
one is already open.. and for the few dollars difference just not worth the effort.
Buy this and return with the old receipt.
Needed a fresh batch of protein. Haven't had musashi in ages, always gone with Bulk Nut. Bought when it was 20% cashback last week … I am a bit disappointed with the dissolvability of this. It is rather clumpy (vanilla). But I am using it for overnight protein oats so it eventually dissolves. The vanilla is very strong and artificial too, but luckily i am only going half a scoop. I personally wouldn't buy again unless super cheap and in need…
did the price just literally go up … i was looking at it and then refreshed and its back up to normal price now???
Yep @Rated3 was right
Bsc protein is GOATED
Musashi struggles to breakdown/dissolve and doesn’t taste as good imho
Will try bsc next time
Prob the only mainstream brand I haven’t tried actually…
For major brands ON Gold std is my pick but only when on super sale
ON isolate at 99 with the 15 dollars cash back was the better buy. Glad I got some. Went to place an order for aminoz earlier, just for some pre and 2kg of prob- was 180+ !! Prices are just insane atm
Not sure if MyProtein is rated well here but I just bought a 5kg bag of the blended whey protein at $160 delivered and they threw in a bottle of BCAA tabs (200).
Code is MSMS for anyone interested but it starts at 5% off for the 1kg up to 20% at 5kg, combined with the 30% sitewide discount and 5% off on app. It's not 55% off though, extra discounts apply on the discounted price.
check the expiry, they tend to sometimes slip you shorted dated stuff, especially if you're getting it at a discounted price.
Chocolate milkshake flavour, milk, spoonful of cocoa powder.
Thank me later.
Any coupons to make it a steal deal?
