First time poster, please be gentle.

Great discount on these 100% cotton chino pants from Uniqlo. I have the slim fit version of these and I've found them to be very comfortable.

The white has all sizes available, and other colours have various sizes. You can also alter the length for free in store or online.

Mine always develop holes around the knees, back pocket or crotch area. Got sick of replacing them, instead got ASOS ones. Haven't yet needed to replace them.

    • +1

Same here, got a hole at the crotch after around 2 years.

    • +2

What did you get from asos?

    • +5

      They also fade extremely fast.

    • +1

Same, got jeans and pants from Uniqlo, and both have the same issue around the knee. I think the Costco one at $10 or $12 shall be a better deal.

      • +21

What activities are you doing for it to wear around the knees?

        • +6

Seeking forgiveness for all of the bargains purchased.

look really ugly to me, like too baggy.

    • +7

you're getting old, it's the relaxed fit

    • +6

Most of Uniqlo's stuff these days, they used to do alot more slim fit clothing but it's not in style anymore.

    • -1

      you're not wrong

    • -2

      It's for zoomers

    • +5

That's the new style the gen z are into, baggy and oversized tee shirts. You don't need to be in shape and can feel better about yourself.

One step away from overalls and flares but fashion just continues to go in cycles.

      • +3

Yeah as a xennial this isn't even that baggy to me. I've seen tight to baggy to tight to baggy in my life already. Cycle on!

        • Yeah. I still like skinny but not painted on haha.
All depends, as long as they got some stretch.

    • +1

these look correct. people have been wearing too-slim pants for the last 15+ years or so

    • Plenty at mid city centre store. Just tried it and yes very baggy. Slim fit unfortunately not on special.

  • Thanks OP. Always wanted to try their chinos but had to wait for sales lol

Ok to wear to the office?

    • I'd say so, with a business shirt long sleeve.

    • +11

It's your office - how would anyone else know but you?

    • -1

Too baggy to be office wear imo

  • +3

Is that a young Bill Gates modelling?

  • +1

Thumbnail looks like a costume for 'a normal guy'

    • +3

      I’m a PC.

      • haha god i remember those. So condescending - thus perfectly done.

  • These look really ugly. Baggy pants really look like shit. I wonder whats going on with the Japanese looking wanabies. With those bitch ass overrated Martens.

Nothing beats the Lululemon ABC pants. What's the Uniqlo equivalent?

    • Lululemon ABC pants are plastic + look crap

  • That 70's show really started a following

  • Does anyone now Uniqlo Aus and Japan sizes are similar?

    • +3

Clothes I got from Uniqlo Japan were generally a size smaller than what I get in Aus (Japan Large fits me similar to Australian Medium)

      • I compared the men's Uniqlo U shirts between Japan and Australia and the dimensions between a men's L from Japan and men's M from Australia were exactly the same. I assume the one size up in Japan works fairly well as a rule of thumb.

        • I have a bunch of Uniqlo T-shirts I bought in Japan that are waiting for me to lose weight. I wish I'd known about the "one size up" rule before I bought a dozen.

  • Damn ordered but then read the comments above…

  • +2

Thought this was a Young Liberals costume.

  • Ahh straight relaxed fit.

  • +1

Free hem alteration also makes this quite a good deal if this is your style

  • +1

Why are these so baggy? Horrendous look

  • TF are these

  • +1

Save your trip. They are too baggy. Ended up buying slim fit one for full price. The only good thing is they short it to your length for free of cost…

  • +1

If anyone was curious, Uniqlo do free tapering in-store for clothing and it doesn't take too long. Would definitely recommend for anyone able to go out and buy these.

    • +2

To add to this, you can take your online purchases in store to get it measured by staff for alteration too.

  • Ordered two pairs in different colours when this deal was posted, one of them just got cancelled…

“Whilst processing your recent order, it came to our attention that the below order had an item/s that we are unable to fulfill due to a technical error. We sincerely apologise for the disappointment, and we would like to assure you that we are working to prevent such issues from occurring in the future.”

Disappointing since this was a great price and uniqlo is usually pretty reliable. Just hope the other one comes through..
