really curious too
My 6700xt decided to die on me last night… do I hold out til black friday sales?
Seems like in the past few years there hasn't really been that many deals anyway
That's a bummer. Depends how much you need your PC over the next couple of weeks.
Black Friday will have a few deals. Anecdotally I feel like the Boxing Day/New Year sales had better GPU deals LY.
Well as powershopz said, depends on how much you use your pc.
Is a few weeks of use worth the chance of waiting and saving, maybe, $100? And thats if you can snag said deal.
I dont have any integrated graphics so I might just have to bite the bullet, its easier to stomach if its only a chance at saving a hundred odd
Thanks!
if you need a GPU now, buy one now
if you can wait, wait
ZIP Pay deals live. Jump on it. Don't think you'll see a better price at BF.
Looking for 5090 but the price just keep going up
HODL. Buy the dip
same here, i figured the techfast 5090 deal is probably the best overall. buy the 5090 and get a free pc, lol
Yeah, I am thinking about it, if there is no other deal, I might go with that by the end of this week
@twdjlzl: i pulled the trigger for the 5090 build over the weekend. seems 90s are not easy to comeby as standalone sale.
@twdjlzl: itsn't this suppose to be their BF sale? i feel like with the RAM getting expensive day by day it is hard for vendors to do much, but then HODL never loses!
@twdjlzl: i picked up the basic set and bought the 256gb ddr5 from centrecom for $1699, checked today it is $1999. Everyone else is selling like $2500+. i know it is expensive, but if it is not getting better next year (per reports capacity are all sold out), it is a hard bet :\
Mind you, Centrecom adds surcharges to their orders. Bear that in mind.
Galax $1249 here, but ends in 30mins - https://www.centrecom.com.au/galax-geforce-rtx-5070-ti-ex-ga…
This or the Zotac? Thanks!
This for SFF. Zotac just ordinary PC case.
bet, cheers!
Isnt the zotac smaller?
Is there any reviewer Ozbargainers have found that covers power draw on the extreme ends of over and underclocking?
Stability becomes an issue long before significant power level changes. The main benefits are less noise and heat when under volting. Even a 10% oc provides imperceptible benefits visually, but you can test the crap out of it and still end up with weird crashes and glitches in specific games etc. Bottom line, it’s only really worth it for the satisfaction of tinkering and tuning.
Also every card and system is so different, there’s no proper comparison. Some cards will take far more power to reach the same OC, and even then “far more” is just relative.
Is it true that you will get flagged at TRS if you try to claim GST for 5080 and 5090? Heard it was due to export control reasons, regardless of your destination country.
