    Users get email indicating:
Your free 3-month promotion is ending, and your first monthly payments will soon be charged to your nominated payment method

    So it’s super convenient:)

  • +4

Good deal. I signed up last time, hopefully I can go around again. Different email account if necessary.

    • new customers

      Different email account if necessary.

      I think this is likely.

      • +1

Can't sign up if did it previously… Can I link my current Flybuys to a new online account?

        • +7

They'll cancel your coles account if they suspect it's churning these deals.

          • +4

@mecusherb: I can confirm they monitor new sign ups for compliance.

Last time, I had two separate flybuys numbers but in a family pool connected to two separate Coles accounts.
Both memberships were cancelled after 2 months with a warning.

            • +1

@DoctorCalculon: What are they going to do? Rough up your fruits and vegetables even further? Dent your tin cans? Shake up your drinks?

            • +2

@DoctorCalculon: What's wrong with that? are you only supposed to have one flybuys per family or something?

          • @mecusherb: What if I can't log in to my current email :)

But I don't mind a backup flybuy account and coles account.

          • @mecusherb: Reminds me of this sad case

        • +2

Signed up with a spare account last time…and didn't use it once … whoops.

Everything at Coles was too expensive during the promo. I pivoted to our local independents (Food land, IGA ,drakes) here in SA.

Just bought some budget porterhouse for $12.99/kg. Never see that at Coles.

  • Yay!

  • :D

  • If I have just started 1 month free trial, will this extend it to 4 months?

    • +2

Probably won't be able to use the code like I did last time.

Maybe just create a new account with alt email and sign up.

    • +2

      It did for me

    • +4

Yes, that's what it indicated to me when I signed up. One month free trial, then a further 3 months afterward using the code.

  • I missed out the last time- will give it a try this time!

  • +11

I really don't understand why Coles Plus doesn't also have the Coles Plus Saver benefits too. Like, if I want the free deliveries over $50 but also want the 10% off discount, I have to get both or what

    • +10

Yeah same, I thought I was 'upgrading' from saver to plus, then cue my amazement as they charge me for both..

    • Annoying but smart of them to put different benefits in the different tier to justify the prices (and entices/forces you to sign up for both)

      • Can you sign up for both?

    • +4

      Save by using $7 saver….then $2 deliveries Tue/Wed/Thur.

Not free delivery, but dirt cheap.

About the best of both offers.

      • It used to be $2 mid week without paying extra money though :(

        • You ate earning Double points etc.

  • +1

Do I need to use a different phone number as well as a different email if I took up the previous offer back in I think it was May/June this year?

  • +3

    between 00:00 (AEDT) Wednesday 5 November 2025 to 23:59 (AEDT) Tuesday 18 November 2025

Is it best to wait until the offer officially starts? The sign up page seems to accept the promo code. Is there a risk they might withdraw the offer before then if there are lots of sign ups?

  • +8

coles group is crushing it. woolies do something cmon

    • +3

Agreed. Coles / Flybuys is killing it with some sensible points offers. Woolies, shame on you.

      • +19

I find shopping at Woolworths WAY more of an enjoyable experience than Coles. More points on offer on average, regular points boost offers, ability to use Rewards Dollars both online or in-store, instant e-receipt available after a store purchase,

I agree Coles does have good promotions from time to time (e.g. regular $50/$100 off your next shop campaigns), but I think Woolworths does a better job overall in customer loyalty experience.

        • +6

I find shopping at Woolworths WAY more of an enjoyable experience than Coles.

100%. This video sums it up perfectly https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mHy3aYgfH4Y

          What's wrong with Coles?

It's like a cattle shed in there. It's like a barnyard.

Coles is like shopping at Bunnings for milk.

          • +4

@PainToad: If your suburb had a better class of scum it wouldn't look like that. Mine is preferable to the local Woolies, which is also quite good. You do have to wear a top hat and monocle to enter though. Tails are optional.

        • Agree! They award points instantly and you get go through your recipts.

        • A lot of this has been updated. I know I get offers in app, can redeem online and get instant receipts so maybe it's changed? But you gotta like the in store experience too I guess, I find woolies have dimmer lighting which makes it feel older somehow

        • +6

instant e-receipt available after a store purchase

Also available instantly via the Coles app as long as you scan your Coles app barcode or your FB card.

More points on offer on average, regular points boost offers, ability to use Rewards

Since the last 12 months, EDR points boost offers have been a complete joke for me.

Whoever provides better value for money wins my business. So far, EDR has failed short with their low ball offers.

One thing I hate about Coles / Flybuys is that you have to wait the following day for your points to update.

          • +2

@DoctorCalculon: I loathe the delay in your points showing up with Coles too. It ends up creating confusion as to what shop is what for us.

            • @1989jdm: It is completely messed up, and absolutely terrible customer experience.
Your FlyBuys account / app definitely knows how much you have spent immediately because you can see the new Coles Express voucher show up if spend is over $30.

        • Found the ww bot~

        • +1

I hate shopping at my local Woolworths. The shelves are empty all time of the day. Vegies and fruits are not fresh. Coles products are abundant. I just go to Coles and the Asian shops in the same shopping centre nowadays. So experience is different by stores.

        • Coles has better offers but a worse digital experience. Pricing is similar, but Woolies has discounted GCs all the time and you can use them online.

All in all, Coles gets more of my business recently due to better promos, but generally Woolies gets more because cheaper due to GCs.

    • +2

COL has finally had some great gains over the last year, while WOW continues to lose value since the covid/inflation era.

But WES is where the quality is for retail / consumer staple stock, buy and hold long.

  • +7

is there a way to easily use gift cards similar to woolworths yet?

    • +4

that is what i am waiting for … so annoying!!

      • omg it's a dumpster fire with coles

        • Manually entering and updating each gift card balance in Google Wallet using the printed receipt at the self-checkout. How good?!

  • Legend thx

  • -1

    FREE

  • Do you get the 10% straight away ?

  • +10

Of course I signed up yesterday, and wont be able to claim the promo… grrrrr 🙃

Also reminder/psa everyone - don't cancel immediately after joining - otherwise it takes the 2 future months of benefits away - set a reminder during the last month to cancel!

➕ You actually get 4 uses of the 10% discount, via this deal 'hack' - by using it twice within the first 30 days, (during the first calendar month, and again, between the second calendar month starting, until the next renewal date in that month.

    • +9

Also reminder/psa everyone - don't cancel immediately after joining - otherwise it takes the 2 future months of benefits away - set a reminder during the last month to cancel!

What I do is set paypal as the payment method and then cancel the autopay from paypal's end, coles still keep your subscription active and they won't be able to charge you if you forget to cancel in 3 months.

  • Hmm “cant vote on this deal”…

We have detected a possible link between you and the original poster or the store itself.
Please note that if you are in anyway associated with this offer, e.g. you are a staff at this store, or if you are a friend/household member of the poster, you should probably stop here, as artificially inflating the votes is categorised as Sockpuppeting on ozbargain

Busted, you and HamBoi69 got a thing

      • Busted, you and HamBoi69

Oh there is a third party named “Busted”?

    • Down, down, posting is down

  • This is worth about $10 if you choose the 10% off and use the trick by cancelling every 2nd month, best to sign up at the 2nd and cancel at the 1st next month.

Anyone else get the $100 off a shop offer if you change your comprehensive car insurance or home insurance to Coles and stay for 45 days? I assume it's targeted? It doesn't seem too bad. My car insurance with Suncorp is about to run out, so it's pretty good timing for me to switch to them for 45 days, get $100 off a shop, and then churn away.

"$100 off a single shop (Offer) is only available to Flybuys members who purchase a new Coles Comprehensive Car or Home Insurance policy (Eligible Policy) before 15 December 2025 (Offer Period), provide their Flybuys number at the time of Eligible Policy purchase and keep the Eligible Policy in force for 45 days."

    • I was literally just looking into this offer @jimbler as my comprehensive insurance is up in a few weeks and I received the email tonight. Surprisingly the insurance is also half the price of three other quotes, so I save $800 and receive the bonus $100 single shop on top.

Does anyone know if I was to activate the Coles Plus Saver trial, do I automatically get a free 12 months subscription if I then purchase the car insurance? Also am I still eligible for the $100 single shop targeted offer?

  • Thanks OP 😊

  • Can we cancel straight away or do we lose it if we do?

    • +1

      Lose

The the reminder feature on the original post to set reminder to cancel

    • +1

No, lots of people (including me) got screwed over last deal by doing this.
I commented above, but set a reminder to cancel during the last 30 days

  • +1

    thx op
I did both today and I am confident I did one last time so they dont test the 12 month condition

    • Interesting. Did you sign up previously during the July promo? Just trying to rejoin myself after having used the promo in July and applying the promo code returns "Something went wrong. Please try again."

      • same not targeted though.
my plan is to unlink FB now, wait about end of promo then register new and relink.

      • I got the same, even though I was targetted with email! Did you find a fix (I gave up as ran out of time, given I tried to sign up on the last hour or the last day of the promo)?

        • +1

I signed up with brand new email+mobile at last day (not last hour), got 3 Months Coles Plus Saver free straight away

  • i just cancelled my coles plus hoping to sign up with this deal but there is no option to

  • Thanks OP

  • Thanks OP. Just signed up for the saver

Does Coles still charge 10%+ for online orders? Woolworths never did and have stuck with statewide pricing. Thanks

    • nah it’s always the same price as in store (at least in my experience)

    • I've ordered from coles online for around 10 years and never had it be 10% more

    • You might be thinking doordash, ubereats etc which does have a markup

  • +1

Managed to get 4 months of Plus (1 month trial + 3 months free) AND 3 months of Saver at the same time. Thanks op!

  • bloody daylight savings time ruining for start time

  • Was good but I’ll give it a miss due to the incompetent delivery drivers being unable to find the driveway to my apartment complex

    • +1

Get the Coles Plus Saver then.

    We're having some technical issues
Sorry, we're working on getting things back up and running as soon as we can. Please try again later.

  • site works again.

  • Anyone know what the "Receive surprise gift boxes" is?
    TIA fam

    • +1

I've received two or three of these in the past. Last one was probably over a year ago.

Was a box of around five or six random food and drink items.

Unsure if they still do actually send them out, but if they do, you'll receive an email notifying you that one is on its way to you.

  • -3

Warning: You may develop agoraphobia by the end of the promo period.

  • +8

I’m getting “something went wrong” when applying the code in checkout

    • +2

I think if you have subscribed/redeemed the offer in the past 3-4 months it will not work for you , you may have to sign up with a new email and link your flybuys Cardin with the new email , just did it for myself with new email and it worked fine .

    • Same for me. I signed up to the last saver offer.

    • Same here

  • Looks like flybuys is down.

  • Not sure if someone mentioned above, I signed up for last offer (3-4 months ago) for Coles Plus Saver and that SAVERFREE gives me a "something went wrong" error. But Coles Plus works for me this time with code PLUSFREE :) YMMV

    • Same boat

      • I’m in the same boat. I can’t sign up for the 3-month Plusfree code, only the free 1-month trial. Savefree worked fine, though.

  • +1

I’m getting “something went wrong” when applying the code in checkout
    any workaround?

    • I created a new account with a different e-mail address and it worked for me.

  • +1

"The promo code you entered is invalid or expired"

    No luck double dipping unfortunately

    • +4

Ends 18/11. Excludes existing members and customers who've previously redeemed a 3 months free offer.

      • noooo did they add that condition recently

      • +6

Silly that their system recognizes me as a customer who has previously redeemed a 3 months free offer but the same system sends me an email "Get 3 months of free Coles Plus Saver…"
