63

We’re Amazon Energy, an Australian-owned solar retailer and installer. We’re currently offering a 9kW solar system paired with a 30kWh battery for $8,990 (limited time, after eligible VIC rebates + Virtual Power Plant (VPP) benefits, offer ends before 22/12/2025).

This package is designed for homeowners who want to maximise self-consumption and reduce grid reliance — with plenty of battery capacity to cover night-time and off-peak usage.

What’s Included

20 × Risen Energy 440W N-Type TOPCon panels (9kW total capacity)

6kW Midea Hiconcs inverter (single phase)

30kWh Midea Hiconics battery storage system

CEC-accredited installation

Monitoring app for live performance tracking

All rebates and VPP benefits applied upfront

Eligibility

Available to Victorian homeowners only

Must qualify for Solar Victoria rebates ($1400 PV rebate & $1400 Interest free loan)

Single-phase homes (3-phase available on request – price may vary)

Why This Deal Stands Out

Comparable systems (9kW solar + 30kWh battery) typically retail around $13,000–$16,000 after rebates.
This offer brings it down to $8,990, making it one of the most cost-effective ways to get both high solar capacity and significant battery storage.

Our VPP partners allows your system to export stored power during peak demand, helping stabilise the grid — and you earn credits for participating.

About Us

We’re a CEC-accredited retailer and installer, with a track record of delivering solar and battery systems across Victoria.
All products come with manufacturer warranties and our standard installation warranty.
T&C's applied.

Mod: Note: Final cost is $10,390 as $1,400 loan will still need to be paid back after paying the $8,990

I was gunna say Bezos might have something to say about the company name …

    • Free delivery included

  • Surely you can't use Amazon name…

    • +2

Why not the name? Ask Brazil.
( I Don’t see Amazon installing and selling panels and Batteries. And no, the Amazon Basics 100 Pack AA High-Performance Alkaline Batteries don’t count. )

      • Yeah just haven't bought enough AAs yet clearly.

    offer ends before 22/12/2025

Is that installed by then? If yes, with the massive delays with batteries, can you guarantee install?

for $8,990 (…after eligible VIC rebates)

Do you consider the interest free loan as part of eligible VIC rebates?

Must qualify for Solar Victoria rebates ($1400 PV rebate & $1400 Interest free loan)

    This suggests you do?

So is $8,990 the total out of pocket price once the loan is repaid? Or the price required upon successful install, with $1,400 still required to be paid (making the total $10,390)?

Please contact us for a detailed quote.

      • +1

My questions do not require a detailed quote, they are seeking clarification of the information you’ve shared in this post.

If you can’t answer them, then this post is not only not a deal, but is extremely misleading and makes me believe that you have deducted the $1400 loan as part of the price you’ve listed, which is against the Australian Consumer Law.

        So, I’ll ask again:
Is $8,990 the total out of pocket price once the loan is repaid? Or the price required upon successful install, with $1,400 still required to be paid (making the total $10,390)?

        • -1

This deal is straightforward and transparent, but we’re happy to clarify anything upon your request.

As outlined in our deal, the out-of-pocket cost is $8,990 after applying the Solar Victoria rebate and interest-free loan (totaling $2,800). You’ll pay $8,990 directly to us, and then $1,400 will be repaid to Solar Victoria over the next year.

If anything remains unclear, we recommend visiting the Solar Victoria website to review your eligibility and better understand how the program works.

  • Do you offer it with a smaller battery? Say 15-20kWH?

    • yes we offer different sizes of battery, please contact us for more information.

  • +1

Is it compatible with Home Assistant, like Sig and FoxESS are?

    • -4

Could you please explain what 'home assistant' are you referring to?

  • +2

A proper 9 kW + 30 kWh setup without VPP control would cost more - but you’d own and control 100 % of your storage and usage.

    • Hi, Hiconics batteries provide 100% usable capacity, and the VPP feature is optional. You can also configure the inverter for grid charging (e.g. free 3 hours options)

  • How about only solar system cost? Thanks

  • Please contact us using the link below to receive a competitive, tailored solar-only quote. Thank you.
