$5 Bonus Cashback on $25 Spend in One Transaction at eBay Australia @ TopCashback AU (Activation Required, No Code Use)

3440

Hi everyone, hope you are all well. Today through to tomorrow we're offering a $5 bonus when you shop and spend at least $25 in a single transaction at eBay Australia. This is on top of the standard 3% cashback rate.

You must first activate the bonus, then click ‘Continue shopping’, then click the pink ‘Get 3% cashback’ button from TopCashback’s eBay page and complete your shopping. Using eBay gift cards for payment is fine, but using ANY voucher or coupon codes will make both cashback and the bonus ineligible. Bonus offer runs for two days ending 23:59 AEDT Tuesday (11/11/2025).

Thanks for your support as always 🙏
Stay safe, and enjoy 😊

Please read the following terms & handy tips carefully:

1. To participate in the $5 bonus cashback promotion, you must first be a member of TopCashback.com.au and must activate the offer prior to making a single eligible transaction of $25 or more (inclusive of GST, but excluding shipping charges) at eBay Australia.
2. After activation, the transaction must be made between 10:00 AEDT on 10th November and 23:59 AEDT on 11th November 2025.
3. The bonus is not eligible on use of any voucher or coupon codes, and also not eligible on the following: travel category items; charity & non-profit items; real estate; vehicles; eBay Plus memberships; purchase of gift cards; best offer accepted prices; auctions; purchases using vouchers or eBay credit; shipping.
4. Your order must be made in a single transaction and may contain more than one item, but the order total must be at least $25 (inclusive of GST, but excluding shipping charges). Sales may report to your account excluding GST so the reported amount may be less than $25 – this is acceptable. Multiple items in an order may report separately in your account – this is also acceptable.
5. The bonus cashback will show as a separate entry in your TopCashback.com.au account once your order tracks, and will be payable once your order is payable. Tracking is not instant and may take up to 7 days to report.
6. If you cancel your order or eBay Australia deems the transaction ineligible for cashback, the cashback bonus will be removed.
7. The bonus cashback is over and above the advertised cashback rate which still applies.
8. Only one TopCashback.com.au account per person is allowed, and the bonus cashback is limited to one per TopCashback member. The bonus cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotional bonuses (including tell-a-friend and sign-up bonuses) that may be active at this time.
9. The bonus cashback may not automatically apply where a missing cashback claim needs to be lodged. If this is the case and your claim is successful, you may need to raise a separate support ticket to be awarded the bonus. Please do not lodge a missing cashback claim until at least 7 days have passed.
10. TopCashback.com.au will not be held responsible for any technical failure or otherwise which prevents participation in this promotion..
11. Where a contradiction exists between the offer terms & conditions and TopCashback terms & conditions, the offer terms & conditions take precedence until the offer expires.
12. Any fraudulent activity will result in rewards being forfeited and accounts closed.

Handy tips:

Tracking for eBay Australia is not instant and can take up to 7 days to report. For tracking success, disable/remove all 3rd party plugins (AdBlock, uBlock, Pi-hole, DNS AdGuard, Honey, etc), VPNs, avoid browsers such as Brave, close additional browser tabs, and don't click away to other sites after clicking from TopCashbackAU as tracking will be lost. TopCashbackAU must be the very last click/tap prior to purchase. Try our iOS/Android mobile app with wifi off (using mobile data) for improved tracking results. Use our contact form here for any questions or issues. Claims can be submitted here.

Sorry nerd, it's also a great deal 😂

I rarely buy anything from eBay nowaday but only +1 because of TA

    • +1

Yeah, same! Hope we get 1 for Amazon tomorrow.

    • Fleabay probably has the best deals of the year - If you are patient. When they want to (rarely) their limited time plus deals can be insanely good.

PS I also spend 99% of my $ elsewhere. But for those rare 1 off item from Apple or Dyson, etc, eBay is the best.

Bought something yesterday from eBay but hasn't tracked yet. I've had difficulties with TCB tracking lately, wondering why

    • +8

Hi. I just checked your account based on your username. The order did in fact track and it's in your earnings page, however you applied a code and therefore shows $0 cashback. You don't get tracking emails when something from eBay tracks with $0 cashback. Cheers.

      • Thanks for checking,TA. I usually receive tracking emails, but I didn’t get one for this order. I’ve also raised a ticket for the other Amazon order where cashback is missing, which is why I was curious.

And good to know that any eBay code invalidates cashback!

        • eBay paying with gift cards is fine though

          • +1

@Fobsessive: Yep, I used gift cards and was hoping to double dip with the cashback. Oh well, the 15% off discount code I used turned out to be better than the cashback anyway

My Samsung store cashback was denied. I purchased on 19/6/25 & total price paid was $1331.84. cashback amount that was denied was $26.64.

I'm thinking any amounts higher than $10-15 , TCB rejects it automatically.
Smaller cashback amounts I had no problems. Less than $5 cashbacks tracked successfully and paid to me.

Topcashback worked reliably for small amount purchases in eBay, iHerb etc but this Samsung purchase was denied. Absolutely disappointed about this.

My travel insurance purchased on 6/2/25 is still on pending status. The cash back amount is $5.65.
Will I received my cashback? I don't know now if can trust Topcashback.

    Can someone help me out?

Hi. Not sure why this is in an eBay post, however - your Samsung order was declined as you likely purchased against the following terms, as many try to bypass the main link in an attempt to trick the system into commissioning cashback. Samsung doesn't decline cashback for no reason:

Cashback is ineligible on any purchases made via Samsung's Enhanced Partnership Program (EPP), Samsung's Government Store, or Samsung's Business Store.

Edit: I see you commented in this Samsung post: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/910329 so it's likely your purchase was from Samsung EPP as I suggested, which makes cashback ineligible per the terms.

Travel insurance (in fact all travel products) are paid 12-15 weeks after consumption/completion of a booking. If that's already been achieved, then the pending status is likely a glitch that I'm more than happy to look into if you ping me privately with your details.

And as far as this comment goes:

I'm thinking any amounts higher than $10-15, TCB rejects it automatically.

With due respect, a totally ridiculous claim, as I'm sure others will attest to.

      Cheers.

    • It can't be due to how much is the cashback amount. I have good experience with tcb no matter how much is the cashback amount. There might be something with your Samsung order not meeting the cashback criteria. The quickest way to find out you minght want to contact TA who is very helpful.

I don't usually find cashback deals related to eBay much helpful when they are No Code Use, as I hardly bought anything from eBay without a code.

  • -1

Always appreciate a TA deal but cannot remember the last time I bought anything from eBay.
    Seems like a declining platform

    • +2

these frequent deals from ebay do seem a bit desparate to drum up sales…temu/aliexpress/shein has really taken the wind out of their 'sales' for cheap electronics, households gadgets and apparel - and amazon has consolidated across many other 'brand-name' categories.

ebay now is really only valuable as a niche for buying/selling second hand goods among individual users who dont care to deal with the multitude of halfwits that case scumtree and farketplace.

      • +1

Even for auction site there's not much traffic anymore. Hardly anyone buy or sell stuff there.

FeeBay still a rort. So people flog to Facebook marketplace

  • Can we use Black Friday (BLFR15) code with this offer?
    Thanks

    • I'm guessing not cos "The bonus is not eligible on use of any voucher or coupon codes"

      • Thanks. How about pay using gift card?

  • -1

TA - can we please swap one of these ebay deals for a 50% off unlimited transaction BWS deal? thanks

    • -1

TA - can we please swap for unlimited free money? Thank arse.

  • Tell me something i should buy!!

    • +4

A Casio watch would look good on you.

    • +4

      It's a tough one… a $5-10 discount on a $20-30 spend is often mitigated by 2 factors:

      1. Brand new items are often 20-30% cheaper elsewhere as all ebay vendor items have associated fees (~10-15% of item cost) and real domestic shipping costs (~$5-10 per item), even if hidden as 'free postage' - ie the bottom line is always higher than going seller direct or via the Chinese platforms with heavily Government subsidised shipping.

      2. Used items can usually be haggled down 20-30% anyway via make offer, bidding etc, which voids the cashback T&C's

Effectively, in most cases, the relative savings can be achieved at any time - so the discount only serves promote an impulse buy at little to no actual saving.

  • Most ebay stuff using codes :(

  • +2

@tightarse I am still awaiting for $10 from last deal

    • +1

I didn't even get my purchase tracked for this $10 deal…

      • Same, mine hasn't tracked either.

      • You shall check your click history if there is and submit a claim from there? Long enough to do so I think.

        Mine shown up

    • As discussed via PM, your order included a separate shipping cost to get you over the threshold which therefore makes you ineligible for the bonus per the terms. Cheers.

  • +1

I'm still waiting on the bonus $10 cashback for minimum $30 spend promotion.

So far, I am a little disappointed with TCB experience when comparing to CR's – which used to email me within minutes of an order being tracked.

  • @TA

Some seller give discount automatic when buying multi of the same items. Will the cashback still count?

    • keen to know as well

    • +1

Automatically added codes are fine previously

  • It's only $5 saving at the end, for all this trouble of reading through the T&Cs and the steps. Probably buying something you didn't really need at inflated prices (compared to Aliexpress).

    • +5

Hi. I checked your transaction from your user name. You have two eBay transactions dated 31/10 with what appears to be the same order ID for both. One shows a sale value of $0 and therefore a commission of $0 and declined correctly. The other shows a sale value of $32.04 and a pending cashback amount of $0.96. And I can certainly see the $10 bonus in your account. It's quite likely the originally declined order 'masked' the bonus as it's the first transaction that activates and qualifies the bonus. A refresh has fixed this and allocated the second order to the bonus. If you check your account everything is in order. Cheers.

good on ya TA name and shame this guy

  • +1

using ANY voucher or coupon codes will make both cashback and the bonus ineligible.

This has killed the last few deals for me because frankly the eBay discount is bigger than anything on offer here

  • +3

Using these cashbacks on single Bosch Aerotwin wipers works out to be a pretty good price.
Otherwise, seems pretty hard to find something to use it on, given:

    1. Inflated prices so you're paying more to start with versus shopping elsewhere.
    2. Coupons are ineligible, which would usually offer a comparable or greater discount.
    3. Chance it won't track
  • Thanks op, first time anything has tracked instantly on eBay. 🙂

  • Geez you lot are bloody whingers 😆 Not every deal has to be for you. I buy heaps off eBay. Often blu rays and 4K discs are the same price or significantly cheaper there. So with an offer like this it’s approaching ~20% off a $30 item with the TCB cashback stacked.

    Thanks OP!

  • Casually waiting for order to track… ordered $25 LEGO 3 hour ago…. Sigh

    • +1

Tracking for eBay Australia is not instant and can take up to 7 days to report.

      • Thanks TA, didn’t have to worry.

        It just tracked now.

    • Link?

  • My last 4 orders from eBay haven’t tracked recently even this one with the bonus, very weird

  • last one tracked fine with $10 bonus but this still hasn't…
