BSC300T is the new version with a touch screen (BSC300 is the previous version with a non-touch). A very affordable cycling computer.

  I'm keen on this as I've had no end of trouble with cateye.

  Can anyone recommend a speed and cadence sensor to go with this? Preferably one that doesn't require a phone for setup or viewing, as that's where the cateye seems to have failed hard

    Have a look at AliExpress, the Magene S3 dual pack is around $30 delivered. You open the battery case, remove the plastic film. Green LED is the speed sensor, red LED is cadence.

    You can add the speed and cadence bundle (BSC300T CADSPD) by selecting a different picture at the bottom right. It's around $170 delivered plus $12 discount if you use paypal

  Read a few reviews from reddit and amazon. pass for me due to poor navigation features

  • Seems good for tracking and recording rides.
  • Maps doesnt seem to update easily (or properly at all) without bit of messing about otherwise will be updated.
  • Routes can be loaded but navigation does not recalculate routes if diverging from set route
  • navigation also gets confused if you have a overlapping return route set (e.g. out and back along same route).

  i have the BSC200. i bought it as a pack with cadence and speed sensor. it tracks the GPS position accurately. sometimes the elevations are a bit off (the elevation of my house changes occasionally). i am just interested in my distance, i never used it to follow routes
