Two colours available, both the same price.
White version $1,099
Black version $1,099

This is one of the high end versions of the 9070 XT, along with the Red Devil and Nitro+ (I like this Mercury better).

Considering even the cheapest base variant 9070 XT is $959, and the cheapest 5070ti base variant is $1,249, this seems like a pretty good deal for a premium card.

I think this is an ATL for this card.

That's the Swift model (still a good card, the one I'm using), OP's post is the Mercury which is a higher-end model

    • I dunno about everyone else, but if im going to spend $1k on one PC part, I dont want it to be a low tier variant. $100 more for the top of the line mercury is a far better deal.

      • You're implying that the cheaper variants are garbage, they aren't. In fact it seems like there is no bad 9070xt variants. Is this better? sure. The cheaper swift is perfectly fine though, especially at it's price point.

        • At no point did I say they were garbage lol.

That video you linked shows the swift hitting 80C VRM temps vs the 64C on the mercury. Long term, with modern cards, its either the VRM's or Memory modules that fail due to inadequate cooling.

          • @Ahbal: 80 on the vrm is perfectly acceptable lol. The overwhelming majority of cards are not failing especially since most buy entry level variants and not these premium ones as the value is usually awful outside of sale periods.

  • I got this last week from centrecom, same price, nice to see white available

Also worth it just to support local, if you're in the area.

This is a good deal, as far as I can find, Aus rrp is ~$1350 I always prefer to buy the higher tier AIB cards - I never want to risk the common issues we see online with VRMs and Memory modules failing due to poor cooling. Imo well worth the extra $100 on top of the swift deal.

Keep in mind with a lot of the other deals, you need either zip or afterpay, then you account for any other fees. With this amazon deal you dont need that.

I agree. Especially if you have a case that displays all your components, you want something that looks nice.

  • Worth waiting for black friday? Or is this the best we'll see?

    • +3

I bought this now thinking I’ll return it if there is a better Black Friday deal.

      • Good thinking. Any idea if this has free returns with prime?

        • From the listing:

"This item can be returned until January 31, 2026 for change of mind if purchased between November 1 and December 31, 2025"

Buy now and sit on it until a better BF deal comes up. Or use it if you're happy with the price!

    • as a previous GPU watcher, black friday deals don't look like a thing in the past few years

  • Worth upgrading from a 3080 10gb? Currently running a 1440p 240hz oled

      That's what I'm upgrading from!
