New single use codes were sent to us and I have been trawling through the JBL site looking for ATL prices. The code gives 20% off all the products I tried so far, including already discounted items and refurb devices. Delivery is free for purchases over $100, $7.95 otherwise.

Top ATL deals:
These two speakers have dropped further and the updated ATL prices below are what they were selling for last week.

JBL Flip 7 bluetooth speaker $119.96 (was $149.95) ATL is $143.96
JBL Charge 6 bluetooth speaker $143.96 (was $179.95) ATL is $183.96

Already discounted + the extra 20% off ATL deals:

JBL Jr310 kids wired headphones $15.96 (was $19.95) ATL is $18
JBL Authentics 200 smart speaker $279.96 (was $349.95) ATL is $345
JBL Authentics 300 smart speaker $359.96 (was $449.95) ATL is $432

Not ATLs but already discount items that are decent deals with the extra 20% off:

JBL Tune 720BT over ear headphones $79.96 (was $99.95) ATL is $74. Currently $86.49 on Amazon
JBL Quantum 100M2 gaming headset (white only) $31.96 (was $39.95) ATL was $28 on Amazon back in July, but for Black only.
JBL Jr310BT kids headphones $31.96 (was $39.95) ATL was just $19 but still reasonable if you want BT rather than wired.

Refurbs:
JBL Charge 5 Bluetooth speaker $79.96 (was $99.95) ATL was $99 for new not refurb. JBL calls them damaged box refurbs and I suspect they are just returned speakers.

Note that once you apply a code in checkout, it shows the extra 20% off discounted price on items on the main page. So it may look like it is not applied, but it is. (Open a product URL in an incognito tab to check). Also let me know if I missed a lower price on anything!

Black Friday deals got started stupidly early this year and it has been a real chore sorting through the fake discounts to see what is actually a good deal. So many spreadsheets.
But if you want to take a look at our deals, the TechRadar Black Friday deals hub is the place to start.

  • Thank for posting the deal op. Any way to get free delivery for jbl charge 5? I got quote $8 for delivery, so $88 total.

    • Buy two? :D Or another product to get it over $100.

There's no other way I am aware of sorry!

      • All good. Just team up with family member and bought 4x charge 5. I tried TCB as well, let see if that work

  • Literally purchased the Flip 7 about 15min ago at JB for $179 - gahhhh

  • Thanks OP. Bought the Charge 5. Been looking forward to gifting it.

  • +2

I just pulled the trigger on 2x Charge 5 with "damaged boxes" for $159.92 delivered.
    That's cheaper than 1x Charge 6.
I think it is too hard to pass up at that price.

I imagine the stereo sound from 2x Charge 5s will be better than the slight improvements from 1x Charge 6.
I am also not interested in compatibility with future products.
I'll just buy 2 of whatever again next time.

    • Yeah good call! I would have been tempted to do the same, but already own two Soundcore Motion+ speakers from a deal here a while back…

  • What's the major difference between charge 5 vs charge 6?

    • The Charge 6 has a slightly longer battery life (24 vs 20 hours), IP68 (vs IP67) water and dust resistance, Bluetooth 5.4 (vs 5.1), USB-C Audio input that supports lossless (vs wireless only), supports JBL Auracast.

The Charge 6 has "upgraded sound" with an improved woofer, but I have not heard both side by side so can't compare myself.

  • The JBL Flip 7 and Charge 6 have both been discounted by JBL before the coupon, so have new ATL prices.

They were: JBL Flip 7 $143.96, JBL Charge 6 $183.96

    Now: JBL Flip 7 $119.96, JBL Charge 6 $143.96

  • These JBL codes are no longer working on any products.

    • They must've pulled it as I was checking out earlier today. Was gutted.

What're the chances of this being brought back?

      • Unfortunately I don't have any visibility into that from my end. But I suspect they won't be back as the JBL page seems to have shifted to giving discounts without coupons. Albeit not as good a discount in what I have seen. Possibly this deal got unprecedented demand! Getting OzBargained should be a badge of honour for brands though.

        • Prob coz you could double up discounts. Eg ultimate partybox came down to 1200 .
          Partybox 320 around 480 or 485.
Also on your techradar page it says their only supposed to work on full price items..so guess that was incorrect

          • @jjoker: Yeah the code on the coupon page has been updated to only work on full price items.

It was a great deal while it lasted though!
