The Premium Plus plan gets you 1 credit a month to buy any audiobook from our entire collection. This title is yours to keep, even if you cancel your membership. It also includes unlimited listening to thousands of included titles from an additional catalogue.
The Standard plan lets you select 1 audiobook each month that you can listen to as long as you’re a member.

For the Premium membership, yes. Not for the Standard membership though ($8.99pm). So I guess the key benefit is the $20 credit and if you can go through all 3 books within the period.

The local library is free. Any people that find 99c/month extortionate. Audiobooks too but not as many. Just need to install the library apps.

Time for my annual 'not paying full price for audible' subscription. Only problem is after 4-5 months I run out of books to download.

I have membership with my local library.
It is a wonderful benefit from my local council which I love.
But there is one thing I wish it improves.
When I did not finish the downloaded audio books within loan period and the book automatically returns - which is good part so far that it returns automatically without being overdue.
But when I borrow the book again, it does not remember up to where I listened.

Is the $20 effectively for a single purchase? It looks like it does work with multiple items in a cart but I'm not sure any leftover 'credit' is retained

For me, I re-signed up for Audible UK (£0.99/month for 3 months + £10 coupon) and Audible AU but wasn't eligible for Audible US at this stage.
I re-subbed today (>30 days since cancellation) and I was given the standard subscription membership + voucher route but I have not received the $20 voucher yet. I've seen some people have gotten theirs instantly but was wondering if there is anyone who had to wait a bit?
Note this is the Standard membership where you don’t keep your claimed books once you cancel.
