Didn't know this, cheers!
but can we get new Reolink camera's and hook it up with the same NVR?
It's just that the camera's that came as a package, they become obsolete if not being used with the NVR they came with
Yes, The cameras don't in this package have identifiers to enable them to be used independently of the NVR they came with so are useless without it.
You should be able to hook further Reolink cameras up to the NVR from this deal without issue (provided they are standard cameras not ones from a similar package deal).
Is the Costco deal better?
Reolink 4K Professional NVR With 8 x P334 Dome Cameras
$799?
Depends if you need 8 cameras or just 4. These are 12MP cameras rather than the 8MP in the costco kit. But the costco deal is a good one if you need 8 cameras for sure
I see. Thanks!!
Add code KASTLMEDIA for a further 5% or $40 off.
The CX820’s are also a great cam and good price at present. Worth a look if you need some night vision cams. $129.19 for one or $127.77 for two or more with the same code.
legend, thank you!
Thanks I had been waiting for these to get a little cheaper, I have one CX810 and wife has been asking me to upgrade the turrets.
Then upgrade you must…
Anyone had this camera? any good? Seems like a good package deal, but if the camera is poor, might need to buy NVR and cam seprately.
Keep in mind that when you buy a Reolink system as a package you cannot use the cameras separately in the future. Their serial numbers are tied to the NVR they were purchased with. It's often not much more to buy the cameras and NVR separately which will give you more flexibility (though you need to purchase your own cabling).
