A new all time low price on this previously popular Xiaomi WiFi 7 router. If you're going to supply your own AU adapter, then it's cheaper to buy with variant on the listing the included EU plug. For further savings stack with 15% cashback at TopCashback and join Team OzBargain for 10% back as shopping credit.

While this one is a WiFi 7 router with features like Multi-Link Operation (MLO), it lacks the 6GHz band making it dual-band only. It still delivers fast speeds with up to 1147.1 Mbps on 2.4GHz (4x4) and up to 5764.8 Mbps on 5GHz (4x4). For WAN/LAN there's 4 2.5GbE ports making it compatible with NBN Hyperfast and a single USB 3.2 Gen1 port.

It supports Xiaomi's Mesh WiFi system so that you can join multiple Xiaomi/Redmi routers together to form a mesh network and it has NFC for pairing phones more easily.

AU$ based on current Mastercard rate and GST inclusive.

For those paying in USD this is how you get the correct exchange rate in PayPal:

AliExpress trade in USD and the ~ before the AUD price in the deal means about or roughly. Setting overseas websites to AUD or letting PayPal do the currency conversion results in an inflated rate. To get the correct rate you need a card without international fees and do the following:

  • Set the website currency to USD
  • Checkout with PayPal
  • Select your card with no international fees
  • Click "See currency options"
  • Select USD to bill the card in USD instead of AUD
  • Proceed with checkout

Now you'll get the correct MasterCard or VISA exchange rate.

So powerful that your signal will reach not only your street neighbours, but even China…

trust china more then the US.

  • I have Chinese Redmi Ax6000 routers (2 of) in a mess and their speed, reliability and signal strength are amazingly good.

If I had any wifi 7 devices I might consider. Don't be put off by the Chinese interface as Google translate does a great job of making it painless.

  • US$97.70 (~A$150), w/ AU Adapter US$111.09 (~A$170.57) Shipped

Skimming through the review images, I suspect that's a $20 travel adapter (!!!), not an Australian 12V power adapter.

anyone know where i can get english firmware for this? i have one (not from this deal but same model num) that has mandarin only.

edit: did another search, still seems like its chinese language only. but i did find this chrome extension (also compatible with edge) that can translate the ui better than the browser's native translate option. https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/translate-mi/fcdofh…

  • I just found this for $AU191.20 on AliExpress:

ASUS WiFi7 TUF GAMING BE6500 Gaming Router

    Any thoughts or comparisons?

  • I bought this router ~2 years ago for a bit over $200 Aud, technically its tri-band with two 5ghz bands (it states 2.4ghz, 5ghz, 5.8ghz). I’ve got mine set up as dual band 2.4ghz and 5ghz, with a dedicated 5.8ghz network for local game steaming.

Decent router but I’d go with the Mercusys BE9300 when there are deals on that.
