  Great for very very serious runners, but no touchscreen. i'll still go garmin forerunner though, but this isn't a bad alternative.

  I used to have a Polar. back then it was cheap and had great battery life.

  I looked at what they had a few months ago, all the new models seem expensive for what you get and have terrible battery life, which I swear is intentional so you need to go back and buy again in 2 years.

  not sure about fitness tracking accuracy, but terrible battery compared to competitors (fitness watch not smart watch), no NFC pay etc made them unappealing.

    forgot to mention. they used to make fitness watches with battery life in the weeks like garmin. and garmin still does.

    when I checked last, every single model now, ranges in battery life from 3~7 days. I have no idea why they went this direction, also they don't seem to have the smarts of smartwatches and NFC pay etc, so where is the battery power going?! 😪
