  • Not bad. Get now or wait until Black Friday? :-P

$32.99 is basically their standard pricing (alternating between Non-Prime and Prime every other week).

      • +3

I paid this in sept. Used it for the first time this morning.

      • +4

        UGreen 65W is 32.99

        Anker 65W is 33.99

If you paid anymore, you have been ripped off.

        • +1

Which one of these two is better value?

          • +9

@HeyJes: Invariably the one you don't buy.

          • +2

@HeyJes: They are very similar. I chose the Anker over UGreen only because if the bottom 2 ports were used, the Anker gives 12W per port, but only 7.5W on the UGreen.

But there is a slight trade off on the top port (only 40w) on the Anker when sharing with bottom port.

            • @megaclix: Thanks. The slight trade off seems to also exist with the Ugreen one

Any that is 3 USB C to C only

    • I find can't any you asked that

  • does it drop the charge when you connect 2 usb c at the same time? mine does, unsure of the brand… but one of those amazon chinese ones…not just drop to a slower charging, it drops completely.

    • +3

does it drop the charge when you connect 2 usb c at the same time

That's a 'perk' of most GaN Charger. It has to re-negotiate power when a new device is plugged in.

    • Yeah most do. Ugreen and Anker do this (these similar models around 65w) - I think you need to spend a fair bit more + maybe the desktop charger style have a handful that don't do this negotiating thing (or at least not fully cutting power).

    • sure does

  • Cheers OP!

  • mine died charging a phone, ipad and apple watch at the same time one of the ports completely stopped working…

    • Did you seek a refund? Mine has the 2x usb-c ports not working after a similar use.

    • Looks thicker tho. Would that affect space in your socket?

      • +2

Nah works fine with socket space (I have this one), check the amazon reviews for some photos showing it plugged into a socket

If you want the latest 65W chargers in one of the smallest form factor with updated GaN specs and with. Go to JBHiFi Commercial Site for around half the price of normal $75 RRP. (See Ozbargain how to access JBHiFi Commercial). Belkin BoostCharge Compact USB-C single port 65W Wall Charger WCA011AUWH $34.67, dual port 67W WCH020AUWH is $37.83 (have to wait a few more weeks to release). I posted the 50W dual port version of the new Boostcharge Pro, see here for the comments to get up to speed. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/929704

    • *….and with PD 3.1 protocols.

  • Is this NOVOO better for same price or is the brand and quality not as good as ugreen?

    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/930010

    • +5

I would rank UGreen and Anker a step above Novoo, IMO, but YMMV?

      • +1

I got one and it's been fine so far. I wanted a bit of future proofing and it's nice to charge my rog ally and phone at the same time.

  • +2

I don't like the rotation of the power port on these, the USB ports end up vertical instead of horizontal.

Prefer the Anker for a dollar extra:
    https://www.amazon.com.au/Anker-Charger-3-Port-MacBook-Galax…

    • Why do you care about that?

      • +5

Multiple reasons, I prefer to insert horizontally. The text on the port labels also ends up sideways which is just silly, might as well be upside down. Also it takes up more space horizontally on dual outlets, less room for large power adapters in the other outlet. Obviously not a major issue but since there's a choice I prefer the alternative. Others have also commented on it previously.

  • How's ugreen with warranty? My 100W charger randomly disconnects..

  • Is there a similar charger for travel? All I found was the ugreen for $59 but has a weird shape.
Or should I just get an adapter?

    • +1

Look at the photo with all of the included adapters, ooh nice and sleek, lovely. Then you get to the AU plug and they've just added wings to it so it takes up more space for no reason.

For a travel charger, I've got one of these but I'm not sure where you can get them from these days, was handy in Japan having their plug built in and then just folds out. This 65w version may be available near you, I just haven't used that exact one before.

      • Thank you so much, yeah this one has a better form factor. Might go the 65w.

  • price match at OFFICEWORK?

  • How is this a deal? Standard price.

  • +5

Gonna go out on a limb and neg this deal because this is pretty much the standard price. I was looking at buying this exact same item just a few days ago, it was at this price.

    • -5

This is misuse of neg, it's not standard pricing even has been a while, just because now is economy downturn everyone clearing stock for cash flow. But after stock cleared the new price will be higher or even dearer than before.
