    • Lol FE version of the 23 for $530? Bad deal.

    • +3

Still using an S20 FE with a new battery I bought off Aliexpress in April. Awesome phone.

      • I also have one in need of a new battery. Did you change it yourself?

        • +1

Yes, just watched some YouTube vids, pretty easy really. The hardest part is getting the original battery out. They use way too much glue so just use a heat gun or hair dryer. I removed the double sided tape off the new one, don't see a need for it.

    • Again, no deal. And doubly so becuase you need to be on a plan.

    • How many does it let you buy is there a limit?

  • This or a56

    • This.

      Ffrom memory:
a56: no nfc (so no google pay for eg), wireless charging

both: no headphone jack, no sd card

a55 was the last good a-series though I lament the lack of wireless charging.

You can't really compete with Samsung's launch code stacking. Paid 600 for s25 this year at launch and hoping to get the 26 around that range too.

Buying the 23 at 600 isn't worth it at this time of the year.

    • +4

Agreed this deal aint worth it .

    • +3

What codes did you use to get down to 600?

    • +1

      Guide please?

    • +1

Wow, so with trade in, you could of got phone for negative, they would owe you like $100

      • Si señor

      • +4

You dont want to trade in with Samsung. I just spent months going through fair trading because Asurion tried to scam me out of my money.
I shipped my phone to Asurion/Samsung, upon receiving the phone they immediately reduced the agreed trade-in value of the phone down to $1, and justified it by sending me photos of my phone with the rear cover half pulled off (I had photos of my phone in perfect condition before I sent it, they didnt care). They damage your phone, reduce the value, and then ignore all of your communications. I got my money back through Fair Trading, who advised they have many cases similar to mine at the moment. Do. Not. Trade. In. With. Samsung.

    • Paid less than this for outright (no plan) from GG, targeted promo for a S24 a few months back.

      Can't find the link.

    • "Paid 600 for s25" with trade-in?

      • +1

Most likely atleast with the trade in bonus

      • +2

No device traded it, 600 reflects trade in bonus with a $1 trade in value device.

        • Awesome news, will try to keep an eye on the launch price of S26. Thanks.

    • Past flagship model is the equivalent of current mid-range phone, ballpark, eg https://nanoreview.net/en/phone-compare/samsung-galaxy-s23-v…

      S23 will be clear @ a lower price if people hold: demand & supply…S23 ~ $300 in 1 year, https://www.ozbargain.com.au/product/samsung-galaxy-s22-5g

Medium & high-end users: give consideration to the 3900mAh battery, see comments below.

A 30 months old base model phone. Outrageous price, considering the pixel pro is $299

  • -1

    Lol bad deal

  • +2

No worth it for $599. Should be around $300.

  • +2

Wow, 3900mAh battery… that would have to be pretty horrific

    • Numbers don't tell the full story. The s25 is 4000mAh and is a battery beast. Having said that, the s23 battery was rubbish :)

      • +4

S23 battery was really good when I updated from s22.

      • +3

The S23 had great battery life for me

        • Each to their own. When I compare the s23 to the s25 battery, they're worlds apart.

    • +2

I found s23 battery life acceptable and comparable to s25, would get me through the day…. best battery life i had was on the mate 10 pro, easily lasted 2 days and was also 4000mah. Bring back huawei!

    • 2 negative factors,
a.3900mAh may be fine for Android13-OS, but Android15 & beyond will chew battery faster & more-than Android13, unless Samsung detuned the speed & limit OS-features…unlikely.
b.that battery is likely to be made in 2022 & hence 3 years old, maybe battery-health ~ 85%: WAG…owners are free to share? Owners of Pixel7 shared their experience with un-used battery, https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/928591/comments

    • Had it for close to 2 years. For a medium user no games it did get me to the end of each day albeit with some anxiety hitting 10-15% Battery by end of day. If you use wireless Android auto often and gps definitely needed a topper before end of day. I had the s25 for about 6 months before switching out to the similarly sized vivo x200 fe(got a monster battery) and I found the s25 to be roughly same same in the battery department as s23

  • +9

It's almost 3yrs old and was $399 in June (Mobiciti deal).

  • I paid $699 for my S24 5 months ago. Not a deal.

  • +4

Pixel 8 Pro $649 from amaysim is better

  • $1399 was the rrp back when released. Certainly not now.

$599 should be the maximum price now with zero plan needed.

    No deal at all.

Seems more like trying to fish for affiliate bonuses.

  • Wow 3900 mAh battery is small. My S20 FE is bigger than that!!!

    • +1

Yep, my S21 FE is 4500 mAh so I'm not sure how people think this is acceptable.

      • Probably because it actually had a pretty good battery life?

        • Define “good”. What was the SoT? 6 hours (for example) might be good to some but pathetic to others.

      • Because it's a significantly smaller phone and battery is literally the primary trade off for those that prefer smaller phones?

        Large

        • Galaxy S2# Ultra

        Medium

        • Galaxy S2# Plus
        • Galaxy S2# FE

        Small

        • Galaxy S2#
    • That's because your S20 FE is literally bigger than that!!!

  • +1

I got this phone around July last year for pretty much the same price direct from Samsung. Certainly still a good phone but not worth this price anymore.

  • +6

In case you didn't know, it was $200 cheaper (33% cheaper) back in June:

[eBay Plus] Samsung Galaxy S23 5G (128GB, Black) $399 Delivered @ Mobileciti eBay

  • Note 10+ still going strong. Almost bit on the P7P though🤔

  • +2

No deal, 2 year old model, and close to 3 years. S26 is coming next year around feb.
