Decent price if you're after Roborock’s newest top model for Christmas. Based on past trends, their flagship models usually drop about $100 every one or two months. After a year, it may settle around $1,500, similar to the Master, Curv, and Edge. If you’re not in a hurry, waiting could save you some money.

I'd still consider this a best flagship atm because of issues and all the maintenance required on the new roller ones currently.
These 10r units are supposed to be really good and they can get under low furniture too. If HN took discounted GC's would be even better but price matching and paying with GC's at JB Hifi might make it a bit more affordable again (around $1800). Sucks that there's no GG or JB discount vouchers out there atm!
Also most RR reviews are pretty genuine. I see a lot of influencers pushing Ecovacs "changing their life" only to see the video is either sponsored or a potential free product.

@50opd2j: Went with 10 as it deals with flat floor better and station clean the mop pad better. Both 10 and 10r listed on their web with similar price. I guess you can ask for the same discount. Anyway that price with 5 yrs warranty can't go wrong. It's 1499 if don't want the extend warranty.
