if low light is of any importance (eg indoor, night time shots) stick with DJI.
Would be good to see some action being compared, instead of just sticking it on a selfie stick and making faces at the camera. You know these are for action sports right?
5.3K must create a massive file. I record in 2K on my Gopro 8 and my 256GB phone runs out of storage quickly. I record my rides to and from work, ~40min each way.
Gopros are known for freezing. Mine does twice a week, which requires me to remove the battery and insert it again. Not sure if it still happens in the 13. Can't comment on the DJI.
Look into the DJI Nano as well, I only mention this because in the advertising video they have it on a dog collar haha
With the release of the Action 6 (though not yet in Australia), there should be expectations to buy a cheaper Action 5 Pro.
I owned GoPro 4,5,7,9,10…and I can say GoPro is going down! I changed to insta360 and DJI instead.
So now you need two cameras instead of one?

Less than $500 means you only get a 1 year warranty in Oz. If you can tip this over $500 with the case package or something else it's worth it for the extra free year of warranty. Otherwise you can pay GG or JB for the extra if you think you need it. I've needed it at 18 months for GoPro 11 (and 8 think). 11 they just gave me a new 13.
my gopro 10 died yesterday :( usb charging port blew up and smells like smoke… funnily enough it still works but can't charge… but time for a new one.

marketplace brand isnt too bad, just avoid deal thats too good to be true cos they are 100% scam. got a gopro11 for 150$, hard to beat those deals.
