    • bad deal because it's $144 off?

        • So what and when has it been a 'good' deal?

          • -7

            @mit: 100 to 150 make sense a little

            • @Zeee: I think you're talking about FB marketplace.

            • @Zeee: what's a good deal for you? $100?

            • +1

@Zeee: when and where was the last time you got it at that price?

    • +7

      Marshmallow alt account?

      • +1

        Yes

  • +2

Aren’t these the shoes Bart Simpson got beat up wearing? 😳

    • +1

      LOL

If these looked anything like the ‘Assassins’ then it’s an instant deal.

  • +75

Decent price. Use Code WHEREFIT_15 for further 15% off ($184)

    • +1

      Nice

    • +1

      Thank you!

    • +2

Thanks for that. Its crazy that code works, but the vouchers you redeem with points don't work on discounted items anymore.

      • +2

yeah, i have enough points for a 30% voucher but it's pretty much useless when most stuff goes onsale for 40% off regularly

        • Its even worse that the codes sometime work on sale items (even thought hey shouldn't) - I got the Evo SL's with a 30% off on a 30% off. No idea why it worked, but they do seem to work sometimes. The only way I've found to be able to do it is to burn a cheap code and hope it might work

          • +1

@anthonyw: Best I had was 40% off + 30% code + x% Amex cashback. Those were the days.

Also dont forget to use the "Adidas Running" app, which gives you points for your runs.
Connect that to your Garmin, and you "may" be able to upload runs, or long bike rides to give you some "hard" earned points….

            • @MaxiPower: That’s outstanding.

I run a couple of thousand kms per year so usually end up with plenty of points in the app without any hassle.

          • +1

@anthonyw: haha, I do the same thing, have a 15% voucher to check

    • +2

As always, comments is where you find the gold. Thanks Baz.

    • +1

WOW I almost bought Evo SL's yesterday at full RRP. Thank you grabbing both!

    • +1

Thank you for the code! I wasn't even going to buy them but the code tipped me over the edge.

    • Thanks you made my husbands day with the extra code. They are his favourite marathon shoes.

  • +1

Nice deal! Prime X Strung 3 also good price if it has your size

  • +5

Insane price for one of the best carbon shoes out there.

    • I was crying when I missed out on the Adios Pro 3 for $226 last time. This is even better!

  • +7

Should be able to get my Park Run time under 30mins with these do you think?

    • +1

      Absolutely 100

    • +2

Might even hit 20min in these.

    • +3

They will make it more fun but you don't need these shoes to get under a 30min 5k.

    • If you are targeting under 30 minutes, the shoe would probably not be the biggest difference maker. Just run more with decent shoes.

    • Only if you boof enough gu

  • Damn…. I might need to bite

  • Crazy deal, thanks OP, just got a pair.

  • +1

    Rip no size 15

    • +1

      Huge feet

      • +1

Huge pain in my butt too 😤🤣😭

        • +3

You should get that looked at

  • Crazy deal

  • +3

Also the (arguably) best looking of the lot is on sale, but low stock on common sizes

    • Oh I didn't see this. Well I guess I'm ordering another pair.

      Thanks… I think

  • +5

    Damn you!! Purchased.

+1 to @bazzato for extra 15% of code.
    (which forced me to buy)

  • Does anyone know if medibank adidas rewards work with this?

  • +2

Ordered thanks! And thanks for additional code!

  • Insane deal, ordered thank you!!

  • +5

Thanks ordered, great price i think with the extra 15% off from @bazzato this comes out cheaper than my EVO SLs

Time to show up at the parkrun and still run 30mins+

  • +1

This is excellent, thanks OP and @bazzato! Bought a pair.

Anyone able to comment on comparisons against Takumi Sens + Bostons? I've got all 3 now however all seem to use the carbon rod system. These arent a full carbon plater so keen to see how these rod shoes compare to eachother

    • +3

TakumiSen and Bostons aren't as cushioned and more for training (tempo, intervals). Adios Pro 4 has more foam which your knees will thank you for those long-distance runs. At full price, I wouldn't wear such an expensive shoes for training (although I see people rocking up to interval meetups with shoes more expensive than this). But yeah…

      • Good insight, thanks!

    • +3

I have both the Boston 13 and Adios Pro 4 (and an older pair of Takumi Sens).

IMO the Adios Pro 4 is easily the best shoe of the bunch, which makes sense as the full fledged flagship marathon race shoe. It is both the softest but has the most bounce and energy return, can easily eat up a full marathon in them.

Boston 13 feels more like a baby Adios Pro 3 - firmer and lower stack, but still quite stiff so is good for ~marathon to 5k pace tempo runs. Great trainer to complement the AP4.

Takumi's are much firmer than both and really are best for intervals, up to 5K pace tempos. Don't really find myself running in these much these days as the AP4 feels better for a 5K if I want to go all out.

      • That’s good thanks, yeah my Boston’s seems to be my go to for now, however keen to see the AD4 when they get shipped!

I really like the stability on the bostons and this seems to be virtually the same so looking forward to more springiness.

I like my Takumis as well however they kindve remind me of my old Nike Flyknits. Virtually no stability and would roll your ankle on an uneven surface. They do feel light though! Great sell point just on weight

        • The AP4 are a lot more soft than B13, and hence they're noticeably less stable. They're not unstable, especially for a marathon racer, it's just the firmer B13 with rods is on the "very" stable side of the spectrum to me.

  • Good deal, now to get in to running…

  • Great price, I've always been turned off carbon plated shoes due to durability concerns, but seems these are rods so less of a problem? Anyone more in the know about how many kms one should expect to get out of this?

    • +2

I've got over 700kms in my Adidas and honestly all perform virtually the same as when I wore them fresh. The shoes usually give in the foam comfort; it becomes a bit softer meaning you feel more shin/calf pressure. For shorter/slower runs I tend to shift to heavy use shoes and fresh ones for tempo + longer

      • Thanks, sound durable enough -now to work out if I can justify another pair of runners!

        • Buy now, think later. Adidas return is pretty hassle free. The hardest part is bringing it to Aus Post when the wife says no.

    • Have ran in these for most of my speed workouts, done around 500km on it and still feels fresh.

This is a good price - got another one to last the next 6 months

      • do you think the size is true ? or better to go 1/2 size up ?

        • I have wide-ish foot and half size up was perfect. These tend to run a little short than other models.

If you’re purely using it as 5-10k or just training, I reckon TTS is fine?

    • The cause of the low durability on supershoes is the foam, Adidas has the best supercritical foam in terms of performance and durability. Adios Pro 3 last well over 600km, which is insane for a raceday super shoe. Adios Pro 4 are probably not as durable, but they still last longer than the average supershoe.
My Adios Pro 3 has got 500km and it feels better than it did when new, the Pro 4 has got nearly 300kms and still feels new.

  • +6

Was about to get them but I ended up going for the Boston 13s, also 40% off + extra 15%, ended up paying $132.60. Figured this might suit me better as a newbie runner and some reviews say they will last longer.

  • +1

damm - website seems like it is 'shitting the bed' awesome deal

    • Mobile works - thank you for the addiitonal discount - picked up the pro 4's and some new trail shoes.

  • +1

damn i had decided i'd wait but came back here, had too much fomo and bought.
    YOLO ey

  • YOOOLOOOOO! Thanks OP, great bargain.

  • Are these out of stock? No matter what size I add, my cart is empty so can't check out.

edit - issue now fixed, order placed, thanks OP!

  • Thanks OP, I got a pair. only plan on using during the marathon for my PB

    • I got a pair of carbon plated shoes that I said I only plan on using it for marathons only. They're so fun to run in. :')

    • You don't thin you should test it before?

  • Thanks Op, you got me

  • Thanks OP - got a pair of AP4 + boston 13s

  • Good deal ! Thanks. I bought one.

  • +1

Insane deal, thanks OP and @bazzato! Used Pro 4s to run Sydney this year and they’re incredible, particularly from a recovery standpoint. Got another pair as well as a pair of Bostons for training.

  • Unreal deal, impulsively bought them, can't get any cheaper than this especially with the discount code!

  • Damn no size 9 or 9.5, insane price though

    • +1

The other colours still have plenty of 9 and 9.5. Give it a search

  • +2

Been waiting for these for a while now and think I snagged up one of the last Size 9’s as they were gone shortly after. Sorry DealChaser1.

Amazing deal and thanks very much for posting and the additional WHEREFIT_15 code.
Now what shall I do with my adidas points and level 3 25% voucher that is only valid for full price items? Seems like so much stuff goes on sale for 40% often that 25% doesn’t seem like a deal…

  • +2

    Excellent deal.

I wonder how many people are going to rock up at park run in these lmao

    • One more marathon in my VF3’s, then they get relegated to parkrun, and I move onto the shiny new VF4’s.

  • do you think the size is true ? or did you buy 1/2 size up ? thanks.

    • buy both, send back the pair that don't fit properly. Plenty of online reports saying they're a bit short.

    • +1

If you're between sizes at all then I'd say size up. I had to size up 0.5 for mine compared to the AP3, Evo SL, Superblast 2.

  • +6

For those game looks like a further $25 off via shopback. For those with adiclub you get an automatic 10% off which should stack with the cashback given it doesn’t look like it’s a code applied. Comes down to $169.40

Just can’t use the 15% off code posted here on top.

    • looks like extra 10% started midnight and most of upper-half sizes got wiped out

edit: found a size and 27% + Westpac 10% cashback finally tipped me over

    • The 10% adiclub is also listed under 'Deals' on Shopback, another reason it shouldn't affect things

    • Very nice, my cashback tracked

      • Mine too. I missed the $25 cap, but still amazing price.

  • Be wearing these down to the food court for dinner. Adios moccasins!

  • Gutted that I missed these.
