Get arrow in the knee for only $199 now. Comes with the option for AC creed shadow, or Battlefield 6 worth around $50-60.
Not a bad value tbh. Efficiencies of 3nm.
Surcharges: 0% bank transfer, BPAY, Afterpay, 1% for credit/debit card & Zip.

Yes it's poor value at $179US but at $199AU it's decent for local stock
If it had a build in iGPU for $199 it would be a good deal
Yep, the iGPU is the only attractive thing about Intel CPUs.
@Snoozer: funny how it used to always be the other way around… intel igpu was trash and cpu was good
yeah - stick it a cheap H810 and then cry about DDR5 prices
The vast majority of people never upgrade a CPU - if you do, AMD is definitely the better choice.
This is priced a bit lower than a 9600X, and is within cooee of it for performance - especially with the games thrown in, it's a great purchase.
*note - i personally often buy the lower end cpu on a given mobo then on 5 years or so pick up the top end version second hand for peanuts (note doesn't work with 13th/14th gen Intel)
AMD YES, INTEL NO.
Its all about price… at the right price even this could be good.. without a IGPU though its kind of meh
Amd is not your friend.
Intel has better value this time
Nah, done with intel.
This processor should be part of the Intel Holiday Bundle (Battlefield 6 giveway)
but im seeing no mention on Mwave regarding this

holy shit those are some good games lol, they are desperate but glad they doing this
Be decent if it was non-F
Single Thread Rating(% diff. to max in group) 2046(-54.2%) 4470(0.0%)
To me that means its only 54% faster in most applications ( most are still only using a single thread )
50% slower is 100% faster - it'll do tasks twice as quickly/half the time. Not 50% faster.
(4470-2046)/2046x100 = 120% increase (single core)
(31599-4971)/4971x100 = 540% increase (multi core)
that's not really how it works
I said that 3.3 GHz is slower than my old 3.4 GHz CPU. What about that statement in incorrect? I'm talking about clock speed, not IPC.
I love posts like this lol
who's bothering with intel CPUs in 2025
I think it doesn't matter if it's intel or amd as long as it's better perf than the amd CPU (with total system cost in consideration) at the same price.
Intel is much better cpu for the money than AMD ! Unless if you only use your computer for gaming at 720 or 1080 p lowest setting ! Intel beat amd in pretty much everything else ( especially price )
What socket does this CPU use ? I still got 1 1700 board left in my drawer so….
uses 1851. if u got a 1700 and u want serious good value for money you can get something like a 13850hx engineering sample from aliexpress - theyre going for ~150 USD and a little cheaper given the 11.11 sale on at the moment. I'm using one at the moment with 3200mhz ddr4 and its a beast for the money.
Hey mate, I am very interested in this but have zero knowledge of ES CPUs from AliExpress. Do you have a link for a good one I could go for?
Sorry it won't let me post a link. Just search up 13850hx Es into aliexpress. ShanDianXiaKeJi Store listing should show up, I've had good experience with them in the past
Lmao. Other comment read just get the AMD chips.
