      Only good deal if you already buying something $200+ it’s basically free $10, but if you wanted to buy and use gift card later it’s not the best almost becomes a liability to remember to buy something in the future

        I've generally bought these as soon as they are posted and have gotten the credit every time. Last time it took a few hours but I still got the credit.

        Yep, received both the gift card and promotional credit confirmation email with 10 min. I also did not use the promo code since the promotional credit was shown as activated after I clicked on the go to deal link. I forgot to go through TCB or Shopback, but it may not have made a difference given the coupon.

        I've never needed to press anything with these deals. It always says "Promotion will be included at checkout". It should say Redeemed next to the Savings promo. You can't see these things?

          If you have genuine need to buy stuff worth $200 yes, otherwise it is a psychological marketing trick many people fall for. They would have nothing to buy for $200 but seeing that they basically get a $10 discount they would go for it even when they don't need it.

          Also if you have to return something then you are forced to only get back the money in the form of Amazon credits literally leaving you no other place to shop around even if you find a better price.

        Got the same error but $10 promotion still came straight away. I presume Amazon can auto detect during the promotion period. Hope it helps.

        It should show "your order qualifies!" on the top of the gc page as it checks against your cart.

        The error with entering the code manually is a common issue for a deal like this.

        The promotional code is single use and can only be redeemed once by eligible customers.

        Sorry I just read through this. Another round they allowed multiple. This round is not.

      It's always a mist. Should be an easy fix but Amazon don't fix it. This way they can be more flexible I guess.

      You should get the credit for first timer.

    As payment method for the the $200 gift card, would using my amazon gift card balance be ok? Or better to play it safe and just use a bank card as payment method? I can't find any info in the T&Cs, but can't imagine Amazon will like the "double dipping" of using a discounted gift card to buy a gift card with associated promo credit.

    Didn't receive a separate email for the $10 voucher but is available when purchasing something new (applies automatically). So suggest testing this to see if you have received already as it only took a couple hours to show up.
