I'm pretty tempted. I just dont currently have a cockpit and stil using desk clamps so don't want to spent the extra money to get the desk clamp addon, would rather spend it on buying a nice wheel.
Simracing is so bloody fun but damn expensive.
You'd need a super sturdy desk for an R9. I use mine on a Wheelstand 2.0 and it's probably at its limit.

Fantastic wheelbase anyone wanting to upgrade to Direct Drive. I got the V2 for around $500 second hand which was a great deal back in the day. This is a no brainer if you're tossing up between Moza and Fanatec.
I haven't bothered googling but is the wheel quick release the same pattern as a works bell? (as in, does my normal works bell adapter fit from my car).

Start cheap with a marketplace Thrustmaster T150 to see if you enjoy it.
The only reason to pay extra is for the immersion. Paying a ton of money on expensive sim racing gear then finding out you don't enjoy it or don't have enough time is a great way to burn money. So start as cheap as you can.
