  • Running 3x Dell S2721DGF's side by side (27", 1440p, 165hz, non-OLED) but after buying an OLED TV earlier in the year I am very interested in getting the same for the PC. Got a new gaming PC on the way with a 5080. The idea in my head is to replace the middle Dell with a new OLED, and keep 2 Dell's running on either side.

I've drowned myself in information unfortunately and now don't know if I wanna go up to a 32" 4K OLED, stick with a size like this deal OR go for a 1440p OLED. I think the logical step would probably be to go for one that's 240hz all things considered. I don't sit that far from the screen FWIW. I'm begging anyone that's made a similar upgrade decision to make my decision for me :D My brain has officially snapped!

Honestly imo if youre single player game focused go for 32inch 4k, 27 inch 1440p if youre into competitive games / esports

      • That's the way I've been swaying myself over the last day to be honest. So many mixed feelings about 4K@27" out there

        • what games you play

          • @Securityclearance: Yeh sorry forgot to add that bit. Definitely enjoy some single player games, but mostly Rocket League and FPS. I'm aware a 5080, OLED and Rocket League is extreme overkill, especially for someone with my skill level :D

@MBix: i mean yeah if RL and fps is ur thing then definitely get 1440p 27 - u still have the living room oled for ur 4k immersion - 1440p is just so much easier to drive for frames

can also test ur current rig with ur TV and see what sort of performance u can expect at 4k especially with dlss

I would recommended one of the new 1440p Tandem OLED models or wait until they release a 4k version.

Also depends on your preference for Matte vs Glossy and QD-OLED vs WOLED

  • thanks got 1

bought one earlier to check and running it vertical fits perfectly on a 48inch oled, getting a second for the other side
