FYI: Managed to get a cracking deal via JB Hi-Fi chat…

Showed the agent the Amazon deal for $350.00 and asked if they could do better otherwise I was going to just order it via Amazon and get free delivery as the closest JB store near me is a 30 min drive.

Agent must have spoken to a supervisor and came back with $330.00 for the tablet if I also bought this case at the same time for $28.00

I was going to buy a case anyway so I figured this worked out pretty well.

    Update & First Impressions

Picked my the tablet today, Going from a similar sized Ipad Pro 12.9 inch 2nd gen (2017 model) to this table was a bit of a shock.
The bezels on the Ipad are GIGANTIC so it was nice to see 8 years of design improvement. Build design looks and feels quite premium and compared to my Old Ipad it seems much more expensive.

Setup was easy enough, My model was built in Sep 2025 and was already running Android 15 out of the box. There will be one last upgrade to Android 16 late Dec this year based on Lenovo's upgrade timeline site.

I found general speed to be very good and smooth coming from the Ipad Pro, Only noticeable down side at the moment is the screen brightness. It is very dim even at max settings. It's fine as I always use it indoors and with the lights off but it is very dim if you are used to bright displays. On the positive side, The resolution is very sharp and the screen is actually quite good quality, Would have been amazing if the brightness was higher.

Also the speakers are so loud, I though the Ipad was good but this was much louder.
I'll keep testing over the weekend but for $330-$350 it's a very good deal.

    • Hi, is it matte or glossy screen?

      • +1

        Hey mate @Datatemp - It's a matte screen.

Took me a few days to get used to it but it's great. Resolution is 3K and sharper than my Ipad Pro (2017 Model)
The colours might appear a little bit less vibrant due to the matte screen but it works for me.

The matte screen works better with the pen but I would recommend going to a JB Hi-Fi store as mine had a display model I could play with
