Mid range performnace should be midrange price. Even the 15T pro is wayy better value than this, if you are OK with Chinese phones (Chinese harvesting your data).

If I'm in the market for an XL with a decent amount of storage 256+ how does this fit in this scheme of things? I feel like the JB deal should just be ignored, was it a pricing error, did anyone actually get one? Would it be worth holding out for the JB plan that's cancelable?
Ignoring the JB deal, ~$999 is a really god deal, so $1049 is not bad. Its the lowest I've seen in the 2 months I've been waiting / searching.
