Probably after the JB HiFi "pricing" error, these deals would probably be, meh.

    • Yeah, was thinking the same. Thanks OP for posting tho.

Regular 9 Pro is already out of stock on Telstra

    • Get $XXX off the Google Pixel 9 until 1 December.

They also run 2 week black friday promotion like Amazon. Unlucky this already finished on day 1 lol

That $150 price jump between 128gb and 256gb is daylight robbery.

Daylight robbery is from Apple charging 400 for the next upgrade. This is moonlight robbery.

1000 bux for a previous year pixel that was built on Scamsung node? Waiting for 26 ultra release time offers is a better option for a few hundred more. You get next gen phone, not this previous gen slow phone.

    • not this previous gen slow phone.

All mid-high range phones in recent years are all fast enough relatively unless you are a heavy user.

        Doesn't excuse the price though.

Yes, I'd expect a further discount on the larger storage ones. Unluck they do flat discounts here.

      • Mid range performnace should be midrange price. Even the 15T pro is wayy better value than this, if you are OK with Chinese phones (Chinese harvesting your data).

    • Speaking of Scamsung … who made this lol
      https://www.scamsung.net/

      • lol, never thought that would exist. If I wanted to insult scamsung I would create shittynos.net

Thanks, Finally got a Pixel XL :)

If I'm in the market for an XL with a decent amount of storage 256+ how does this fit in this scheme of things? I feel like the JB deal should just be ignored, was it a pricing error, did anyone actually get one? Would it be worth holding out for the JB plan that's cancelable?

    • +4

Ignoring the JB deal, ~$999 is a really god deal, so $1049 is not bad. Its the lowest I've seen in the 2 months I've been waiting / searching.

Thanks for the advice! I'll wait a few days and see if anyone beats Tesltra (3 days untill Google's specials drop for example).

        • +1

I'm doing the same and waiting. Google will be the better option to buy from with their credit on purchase & for warranty returns IF they match or beat Telstra

          • @Darkii: Do you have any thoughts on the equivalent of AppleCare+ for Pixels? I could really use it. My P7 has cracked both camera lenses and its screen.

  • This or Xiaomi 15T?

  • With my Pixel 7 Pro 256gb Trade in of up to $240 it means it closer to being palatable….

    • you missed out on this one, unfortunately.

  • Ah bugger don't have a Telstra service

    • is it locked to telstra? if not cant you just buy a $1 prepaid plan?

  • Looks like the 128gb and 256gb version are sold out/no longer available
