    Must do 1st - google and write down all public holidays in Japan - dates to avoid as its the busiest.

    Airports -
    Narita is furthest from CBD of Tokyo
    Haneda is closest to CBD of Tokyo

    Layover - Melbourne to Tokyo
    Many flights are 14 or 20 hour layover in Guangzhou China
    You arrive in Guangzhou China at 6.00pm and leave at 8.00am - will need hotel booking
    Research hotel costs before booking flights and Didi (uber) is cheap to get to attractions.
    Google images and watch youtube which attractions are worth seeing at night
    Check distance to each attraction to the hotel / airport you want to stay

    Flights -
    Lots of flights going to Narita Airport
    There are some flights going to Haneda - go through the list and check
    No flights available during school holidays

      You arrive in Guangzhou China at 6.00pm and leave at 8.00am - will need hotel booking

      china southern will give you a free transit hotel, it is close to airport and about ~40-50 minutes from the city proper - places you want to go. would cost maybe $15 via didi
