Pressing the doorbell will only ring the connected Tapo Hub, and any Android/IOS device with the Tapo app installed.
With Tapo app you can also set what happens when the doorbell is pressed. If you have other Tapo devices or other Matter enabled IoT devices, you can also set automations, like changing the color of smart lightbulbs or toggling on/off light switches.
is it really worth the extra for the hub over the version which just has the chime?
Does this one work with an existing chime, i.e. a hardwired one that completes the circuit when pressed?
