Ive had one of these for a few years now. Very basic / bare bones, but does the job.
Will eventually upgrade to one with a timer and more features.

    • My exact experience too.
Bought it many years ago in a hurry only to use it months later and then realise there is no timer.

Would not recommend if you have kids. The outside of the slow cooker gets extremely hot during use, haven't had a slow cooker previously without insulation like this.

Have this model and it's… fine. Cooks well, have made some fantastic slow cooked dishes in it, and the large ceramic bowl cleans well in the dishwasher. For $45, sure, good price.

Wish it had a light to indicate when it's on. I almost always check after 30 minutes or so just to see if it's actually heating. The "lid holder" is useless, hooking the lid on to the side of the body just means you're spilling condensation all over your countertop. No thank you. And speaking of the lid, the steam vent is almost non-existent on the bowl so the condensation ends up building around the rim and your lid is liable to start "floating" in condensation and bubbling. Don't really know how else to describe it, but steam will push the lid up out of the vent and can get quite noisy. Lucky for us the lid from our old slow cooker that this replaced has a vent in the lid itself and was the same size so I just did a 1:1 swap and it's gold.

  • Can confirm as own one, the dial indicator is dark and not obvious which setting has been selected. A light would be nice, as in other models, but how hard is it to design it with a bright stripe if cost is an issue? IMO just add it yourself
