Been keeping an eye out for a 48” LG OLED and had a 3 camels alert come in over night. The B series appears to be entry level. Overall reviews say they are decent. I’m hanging out for a C5 model but good price IMHO for an OLED.

Some specs as follows

Display Technology OLED
Resolution 4K
Refresh Rate 120 Hz
Aspect Ratio 16:9
Screen Finish Glossy
HDR Format Supported Dolby Vision, HDR10
Display Language Options English Only
Response Time 1 Milliseconds
Display Backlight Technology Self-Lu

Would be, but I've been hoping for that since C3, and as far as I know it never happened, they simply don't discount the 48" C series much at all. I just settled for the 42" instead.

This is a cracker. If I didn't already have a 42” C2 mounted on wall in bedroom, I would get this. If my desk in study was big enough, I would use the 42" as monitor & then put this 48" on wall in bedroom.

As my other 2 X TV's are OLED, I got sick of having to watch the shitty old LED in bedroom. The step up to OLED in bedroom was well worth it, I think I paid around $1300 for the 42" C2 3 years ago so I reckon this 48" deal is good value

is it much difference between B & C?

I think main difference would be brightness, & C has more powerful chip. If you want to game, C would be better. But as a bedroom TV, C is probably overkill. There was no B option in 48" when I bought 42 C2 for my bedroom

In the US people are paying $800-$900 (AUD) for this so $1148 seems pretty high

Just go a 3camels notification - down to $978 on Amazon today. Showings lowest it’s been on Amazon, not as good as the Costco deal, but still good.
