JB's Black Friday deals on the LG G5 series are pretty nice. 77" I believe the lowest it's been. I have just picked one up myself with free delivery
21 Nov: Further price drop on 65" — $3,633.

Compared to?
Normal price
okie dokie
@ozsaveroh: Also 65" cheaper here - https://www.thegoodguys.com.au/lg-65-inches-oled-evo-g5-ai-u…
$3635 if you press the price best button, but $150 cashback with TCB for today only.
Was cheaper just last month, 65" for $3038 with $59 delivery, PLUS a sound bar and receive a $400 digital gift card after redemption.
No, the soundbar was additional to that price and the $3038 was after factoring in the gift card. The idea is that you get the 20% off by adding the soundbar, then flog the soundbar if you don't need it. TopCashback has 18% back from Good Guys right now, bringing total cost to below this.
@cramblamwich: Soundbar is included in that price, not additional, but yes correction the 3038 was AFTER factoring in the gift card.
@Eriadnile: You're right, I was remembering the total cost for the 65 inch and the more expensive soundbar. Apologies.
Aldi? Lol.
Good Guys website has a price beat button for $3635 on the 65 inch, allowing you to claim the 18% TopCashback. No button on the 77 inch.
The cashback brings the 65 inch down to a pretty similar total cost to the $400 gift card offer from last month.
Nice! Will cancel and swap my order if they add the 77" in the next few days
Oops, I forgot the $150 cap on the TopCashback offer. Still a good deal, but not as cheap as last month. Fingers crossed for the 77 inch.
The 77" has been updated to $5244 or with pricebeat button $5231.
Cashback doesn't work with pricebeat though
It does with the Price Beat button, not with a price beat given by a sales rep.
News to me, wish I'd known sooner
Check and see if you really need the G series if you're considering an OLED. The C5 is about the same brightness as the G4, and the G5 is only about 50% brighter. Other main differences are wall-mounting aesthetic, and different AR coating. https://www.rtings.com/tv/tools/compare/lg-g5-oled-vs-lg-c5-…
G5 has the new RGB Tandem panel tech. Other than all the colour and brightness benefits, it's claimed to last longer and be significantly (40%) more power efficient
the C2 pixels onwards will already last multiple times longer than the tv itself if used reasonably. cool to hear about this new tech though.
Compared to the recent prices the Black Friday ones are a bit meh.
If LG end up matching these prices and you have one of those 15% off vouchers though be a sweet price
this is just the fake black friday sale though. hodl.
Its worth going into JB and asking them for a deal, got a 83" G5 for 5.6k yesterday, being delivered today
from where?
Moore Park, NSW
You guys I did my first proper ozbargain and wrangled a 77 inch G5 for $4200 delivered.
In person talking to a rep? id like to attept this, as that price sounds good too me.
Please explain @nicktheesupernaut
How'd you manage this?
Still way overpriced
