There's something you don't see everyday, a hobo with a wet/dry vacuum

Maybe they can give your car a quick steam clean at the traffic lights

Then, we need to find the traffic lights with the longest wait-time, and receive said service and/or set up shop.
Soon, car-care companies will collude with roads authorities to increase red-light times at chosen intersections, upon which Councils will receive local complaints for feeling "unsafe" from loitering delinquents making more noise than the EVs they are cleaning, and this is why good ideas do not take off.

dang.. havent even opened mine yet from last time.

Me too!
I thought I did well waiting for the drop to $99, and now this!
and now $68!!!!

buy again and return the old one. Wasn't there a post about this?! ;-)
Admittedly I also bought for the 99$ price and not sure I'll do this either.
nah. It'll probably be a $20 effort to return it.. and it will end up at the same spot when i get home. pointless exercise.

Maybe just return it for $99. Get money and space.

Already have Shark spot cleaner, do I need this?

I think spot cleaners more useful

Less power though for suction drying

Thanks OP and Skido for this comment. This should be added to the deal description.

Legend, thank you
Can also add 4% eGift Cards on top.

Or 4% TCB, if not paid using giftcard

How does this compare with Bissell The Little Green if anyone knows?
We have an old Little Green, but it doesn't seem to have a lot of suction power, mainly good for spot cleaning carpet spills.

Are there any benefits if you already have a wet/dry shop vacuum?

This one seems to be useable for wet/dry without a bag .. other models typically need you to change the filtration based on what you're vacuuming

anyone received from last deal can confirm they are good?

I haven't opened it yet
But i can confirm - the package looks good overall. with coloured images, some notes etc. It is definitely 5 stars package

I got it at $99 from the last deal
It is strong and works great for cleaning around the house and I even connected it to the router and circular saw and it captures most of the saw dust
Ah , mine purchased at $95 still in the box.

I got mine for $99 last deal. It's worth every cent.
I have not been kind to it and the fact I can just suck up 1/4 sink of clean water, dump it and wash the mesh filter and it's perfectly clean ready for next round is excellent.
Highly recommend.
Got mine at $99 and tested it.
Generally a well thought out machine, they thought about the work required for cleaning up the machine itself, which is key.
The drawbacks are, the hose is short and it is very loud, uncomfortably so.
Still doesn't compare to the Bissell SpotClean, that thing is a thunderclap, it's so bad that ear protection is compulsory and everyone in the room needs to exit.
But this isn’t a spot cleaner :/ it’s a wet and dry vac
I do agree that the hose is so short u cant even wrap it around the vacuum to store it where it’s supposed to be stored.
And wish it had some small wheels on it to make it more convinient
Great machine though honestly

Good for cleaning the car, then?

I would say no.
I would get a cheap Ryobi tin can over this. It's got more power, capacity, more hose range and more versatile than the Shark for car cleaning.
Same way that I would rather have the Shark over the Ryobi tin can inside the home or kitchen. Smaller footprint, does the job, less cleanup.

When I said 'still doesn't compare', I meant in terms of noise level.
I can see why that statement was confusing

Still doesn't compare to the Bissell SpotClean, that thing is a thunderclap, it's so bad that ear protection is compulsory and everyone in the room needs to exit.
Serious question: Is it just noisy or actually more powerful?

Objectively the Bissell is more powerful, its objective is to inject and pull liquid out of carpets.
That being said, a proper wet vac is able to pull liquid just as well while having half the noise (but obviously much larger and potentially expensive machine). While I've only tested the Shark on hard floor, I can tell it'll have less pulling power on carpets than the Bissell.

Can you use this for spot cleaner? Just use cleaning spray

bugger, just picked up the other deal last week for 99$! still unopened.

Bought one to keep unopened until its further reduced. Thanks OP

Hows the suction on this? Can't find the mbar numbers. Interested to know how strong/weak this is to the 140 mbar ozito https://www.bunnings.com.au/ozito-1250w-12l-stainless-wet-an…

I don't think the suction is as strong as that Ozito.
Ozito has more power and probably versatility, Shark is a smaller footprint, potentially more nimble.Ozito would probably need filter removed or have a different filter in place before picking up liquids.
The Shark doesn't care.
keen to know as well, I have the ozito 12L, not sure if Shark is an update or not.

Foack moi..still in box from the previous deal

Lmao same

the good guys will do price beat for $74, Price beat popup will display automatically.
https://www.thegoodguys.com.au/shark-messmaster-portable-wet…

For anyone who purchased off last deal, JB will refund the difference FYI.

Thanks. Didn’t know they could do that

Have price matched again with JB HiFi against TGG price beat 74 and placed the order, thanks OP

$20 recost with JB. Cheers OP!

Does this work for upholstery and curtains? Or would something steam based be better?

I’d like to grab these to clean carpet, do you think I can do it? I just buy an auto sprayer with carpet detergent

Does anyone know how this compares to the shark stainstriker ?

This one is vacuum only. The Stainstriker has a sprayer that allows you to dispense water/cleaning solution.

Pricebeat with Good Guys now brings it down to $68. insane

i'ts corded :(
'portable' - no cord pictured in listing
Still listed at $79 but pricebeat now brought it down to $29 !!!
Crazy price!
Bought it and waiting for pickup confirmation.
Damn, I just used mine for the first time this morning

Thanks didn’t bite at the earlier price but bought just now because of your comment! :)

GRR, i'm trying to save money. Purchased.
