Not sure if it's just me, but the $10.64 price for the Ultimate Collection only appears in cart.

    • Yup same

Thanks OP. You can't say no to C&Cs.

  • +2

Really sucks C&C3 servers are offline. there's no reason you shouldn't be able to play these peer to peer.

    • +1

I agree, I purchased this last year but never played because it had no multiplayer

      • Yup, another one added to Steam, collecting dust.

    • +4

take a look at this site, https://cnc-online.net/en/ you can play private and multiplayer matches, i played RA3 with it. dude so many great players out there.

    • i didnt realise this when i bought it this morning, ah well that'll teach me, only $10.64

    • +1

As sandman mentioned above, there is a decent community run system to play online matches through cnc-net.

You should also checkout youtubers like masterleafcnc, who as been patching C&C3 KW for the last 20 years, and Sybert, who casts lots of online matches for a lot of the C&C games.

      Peace through Power.

Unable to comply building in progress

  • I have this, but I couldn't get some of them to run (Generals for example).

    YMMV

    I'm a mechanical man, I see a C&C deal, I upvote.

    • +2

      I'm a mechanical, I'm a mechanical, I'm a mechanical man.

That's running on repeat in my head the rest of the day now! :-D

The soundtrack from a strategy game released in 1995 has no business hitting as hard as it does lol!

    • We are going to have to act on this deal, if we want to play in a different world.

  • +1

    we will bury them

    Cha-ching! Yeah, baby!

    RA2 had the best Tanya.

To help everyone feel young on Friday afternoon (other than me): I played the original Dune 2 by Westwood (and Dune 1), and was happy when Warcraft appeared that you could select and direct up to 6 units, rather than only 1 as with Dune 2.

Then C&C arrived where you could click and drag to select large numbers of units and it was awesome!

    • +1

As much as I loved Dune 2, tried it again some years ago, and the one click one move just killed me.

      • +1

I totally agree. There was an Android port a few years back and both there and on PC, single click her unit was brutal!

  • +1

    Oh, the nostalgia!

Command & Conquer 4: Tiberian Twilight

What a bitter end to an otherwise excellent series.

    • Because they changed the formula and got rid of what made the game fun base building lol

  • Are we able to gift the extra keys for games we already have in our Steam account, or do they just disappear into the ether when we buy this bundle?

    • After I've logged into my account, it appears to remove the ones I already own and lower the total price.

  • Bar C&C 4 these games are all fun and amazing to play

id say C&C 3 was the best but RA1 i probably have the most 'fond memories' of - anyone who played the RA 1 demo back in the day with the 'Spy mission' to rescue Tanya

  • Is it done Yuri!?

No, it is only the beginning.

  • Will Generals work on a Win11 device under this remastered collection. I think I got the original collection some time ago and half the games wouldn't even load.

    • GenPatcher and GenLauncher on ModDB solves 99% of issues.

      Huge community for these games

  • Any steam deck users able to comment how Remastered works on there without keyboard and mouse? (Touchscreen, trackpad, buttons?)

    • +1

Probably best to use keyboard and mouse

  • +2

buying this, will wait for the kids to grow up, divorce the wife then buy a small house in dubbo, kit out with solar panels and a battery and then just play steam games like this until i die lol
