      Only menulog myself just used the link and signed up, shall find out tonight if there is anything more to it.

      it did not ask me anything about prior account or anything to do with Menulog thus far.

      edit2: So a nightmare to find support with Uber, Menulog were nice with Live chat,email even phone number…
      once you get through, 6-12 hours before they will get back to you, so we will wait tonight… for now, Menulog will be the choice tonight :D

        Uber Eats support is atrocious.

        They redirect you to AI, close tickets without responding or may farm you to offshore low income support.

          Luckily I did not have that AI thing to begin with. but anyways… tonight they just got back to me..

          Excerpt from them: "Thank you for reaching out to us. I understand that you're experiencing issues with the promo code you received. I see that you are eligible for the promotion. Please proceed to place your order without applying the promo code, ensuring that your basket size is $30 or more to qualify for a 50% discount on your order. Once your order is complete, contact us again, and we will assist you with the refund manually.
          Thank you for choosing Uber Eats. We appreciate your patience and understanding."

          so, I responded asking for them to delete my account, how garbage of a platform do you have to be to REQUIRE users to apply for the discount after the fact… I rather not do business with them. so yeah…
          not an uber customer, and likely never will be. just straight up so low and stupid in my eyes.

      As someone who never had an Uber account, you would be right, Close to Zero, is 1 :D
      Suffice to say, the Uber experience is very sub par though, already dealt with support and they will get back to me…

    Not sure why no one is able to get the promo code to apply on new accounts (same for me).

    Has anyone had any success???

    Surely the Uber Eats new account email address doesn't have to be an exact match to the Menulog account email address (as that would mean Menulog have shared user info with Uber to be able to crosscheck)?

    Thanks was Menulog and doordash user.

    Successfully applied the code and ordered, but after being with Ubereats and looking at their history there isn't much promos for existing users, back to doordash for me

      Applied code to brand new account? Did you do anything special when setting it up (just not sure why others aren't having similar luck getting the promo code to apply)!

      BTW, UberEats does have good promos niow and again (used to be more frequent)… just have to wait and be selective!
