  Slightly off topic- but I think with flybuys they're smart enough to detect if you're buying a gift card and render discount ineligible? I was given birthday $5 voucher for $30 spend but T&Cs say excludes gift cards. Can anyone confirm?

    I don't think they can. I reviewed my recent purchases of Coles Myer gift cards from them during the Amex promotion, and the statement only lists Liquorland.

      Amex is different I think- yes they can't tell what you're purchasing from LL (same for any other CC with cashback offers). I'm thinking if Coles/FB can exclude gift card purchases from qualifying for the min spend bonus points offer then they're able to apply the same restriction on discount offers.

  can you shop at coles one day and go to liquorland another day? My local coles don't have Liquorland nearby but I have this offer.
