My 100th post :)
Similar to previous deals, haven't worn a shirt since before covid but these used to be my go to for work shirts.

My thoughts on ct for 2025 after spending nearly $1000 for 2025 with them.
Express shipping and free shipping practically the same. Free shipping says 8-12 days, express says 8 day. In both instances got my order on the 8th day. It seems like another cheeky attempt at squeezing out a bit more $ for the sale
Ultimate non iron chinos I 100% recommend. I have 5 pairs now in different colours. Good amount of stretch, nice cut, fun range of colours (especially the forest green), wash well and do not require ironing like it says in the name. I haven’t seen them cheaper than $89 via CT no matter what link I click through. I used to wear country road chinos which best price I ever got through iconic code stacking was like $90 ea. and I cannot recommend the cr chinos now personally.
The shorts at $59 are actually probably the best non-work wear short I have ever tried
The oxfords are soso, I wouldn’t pay more than $45 for them. They do come in some fun colours though and have a range of sizes. The linen shirts were ok. The poplin shirts were ok. Again prob wouldn’t pay more than $45 ea
The exchange process was great - even though it had to literally go all the way back to the Uk then back out. It was no fuss and quite seamless.
I personally am not a fan of their arbitrary pricing via click through. They’ll run a whole bunch of different campaigns depending on where you click through. Eg it might be 3 for 135, or 4 for $200 or 25% off rrp (the worst price usually).
In an age where we’re hit with Enshittification from all sides, could I recommend CT ? … yeah. I would. But only if you’re paying like $45 a shirt/polo - or $89 for the chinos. Good for those who want to level up their wardrobe at a reasonable price*
Great write up. Didn't realise their chinos are non-iron will give em a try. I'll do anything remove these non value add activities from my life
For those looking at the ultimate chinos, I will also note the ivory colour is extremely see through - for those who want a lighter than khaki ‘white’ - like I literally cannot imagine how anyone can wear these without looking ridiculous as even if you wore tights underneath (ridiculous), the pocket lining materials at front show through. The ‘stone’ white however is fine and quite nice.
Oink oink, thanks jw
Yeah exactly same experience here.
Their chinos are top stuff. Free exchange process is great, albeit takes time to ship back and return from the UK.
Shirts and polos under 50 bucks are fine too.
Pure linen shirts feel great but terrible to iron. White, navy and olive green are my top picks.
I have my eyes on their winter tops now.
iron
linen
I ended up using a steamer instead on these - not really sure why I bother though… I feel like you pretty much need to embrace the crease prone aspect if going linen haha
Yeah I iron them while still wet. I got used to the crease :) will try steamer thanks.
I've not seen free shipping for a while now so this is about as cheap as shirts get which works out just over $50 a shirt delivered. Bit too much for my liking now.
How do they size?
I'm an XL usually but I don't want to have to return anything if I can get it right in the first place.
IMO true to size
I’ve tried their
Poplin shirt
Oxford shirt
Polo shirt
Ultimate chino
Shorts
Although regular fit suits just fine, my latest orders have been for the slim variants where possible, otherwise have to military tuck the sides of the shirt
I’ll say again though, the exchange process was great. They accept refunds too, but there’s a small fee (iirc 9.95 charged to cover freight). I thought the 6 month window was good too - and counts even if you have worn them.
It's there a code? Or has the deal not started yet? Landing page gives me 4 shirts at 74.75 each.
Nice 100 posts!
Go into incognito
Ref to my point 6 above
nope, doesn't work with incognito neither, 4 shirts at 74.75 each
I wonder if it has to do with the way the url is sometimes processed before being put into the op.
FWIW I usually get best results by googling ‘mj bale shirts’ and then clicking the sponsored result for Charles tyrwitt - - which correctly shows 3 for $135 offer (at least in my browser) - there’s probably some level of cookie based shenanigans going on too.
Try this, changed URL in OP, https://www.charlestyrwhitt.com/au/mens-shirts/business/?fbclid=IwY2xjawOOVVJleHRuA2FlbQIxMABicmlkETFxSDZ5Y0tJU3FSS2Jqd0tMc3J0YwZhcHBfaWQPNTQxNjM5NDkzODg5MDI1AAEetVV-C-Jdix7I-rXfCpOUEjQK_ipap4g04JFEFi9jyvkvIuYIhIi5eiDdaec_aem_DsX7F7yMhsY7y_WDCyd0EQ&marketing=true&prefn1=webWeave&marketingCode=ausfbm&prefv1=oxford
Update: This URL https://www.charlestyrwhitt.com/au?cgid=shirts-formal-shirts…
@neil: Both links work for me… but it was working before i clicked either of your links so probably saved in a cookie or whatever
Try adding 3 shirts.
Not really a reason to neg a deal.
For me, when I look at the shirts page it has 3 for $135 written underneath the price . There's no code or anything, but it seems like if you add 3 shirts that have that written under the price then you get the deal.
One effective means is to search for the item you want via Google Shopping, and click through to that item from there - this will give you the 'single unit' pricing of their multi-unit deals usually. So a shirt should show up for $45 each rather than 3 for $135. YMMV
Hrrrm, coming up $49.75 per Polo for me.
This is for shirts, not polo
It works for polos too
Oh I didn't know that, it only said shirts on the Facebook ad.
@onetwothreefour: Yeah, ct marketing is all over the shop and is the worst lol
I have the smart jersey polos and an rrp of $109 is laughable
Got the ultimate chinos, thanks op and other posters.
Anyone know what the main differences between the Smart Jersey Polo and Smart Pique Polo are? Looking at the description the Jersey has more 'sheen'? Anyone have both and able to comment? Mainly want to use it when going into the office.
Different fabric. The jersey polo is a smooth finish like a tshirt, quite soft , like uniqlo supima tshirt. But it maintains the hidden button down collar - how well it handles washing I can’t say for sure, only got wear them 3-4 times so far been ok. My usual go to for polos was formerly rodd and Gunn $59 polos - but for some odd reason they have made them now REALLY long… like you can’t even wear them untucked long (imo). Didn’t have that problem with the ones I originally got in 23-24.
I feel the jersey polo gets less ‘humid’ inside on a hot qld day than normal pique polos from other brands (eg lacoste/TH)
I wear these to the office / visits to non-work sites. I think could layer well with a light blazer when it gets colder.
Thanks for the feedback, looks like Pique has more breathability which is really important for me, had other cotton polos which felt like I was wearing cling wrap and I would just sweat.
Dont ever buy their Polo. They only lasted for 1 months after 4 washes. Uniqlo lasted longer
So, you're basically Tarzan?
