not the super wide beam only one I have posted before.

but a ATL for all of them, and this one is the Floodlight, Spotlight version. Picture from review.

claims 3.5 hrs to 5 hrs of use with either spot/flood light, probably depending on brightness. my friend said they get a bit better than that (6 hours) on the one with super wide beam I previously posted.
USB-C rechargeable in 2~3 hours.

cheap but well reviewed and decent enough battery life given it's size and weight. outdoors the floodlight only version can struggle to light up the distance, the spotlight on the one in this deal will probably do a bit better outdoors, but still not going to be the brightest thing. (if you want something with some power, get Sofirn H35R for double the price, I have it it's more than great).
also red light on Blukar is very dim, and has no brightness adjustment.

  • would you recommend Sofirn H35R if I'm after a simple headlamp with white and red light? nothing fancy (no need for spot, flood, motion sensor, etc…). and ideally i can get to the red light mode straight away, without having to click the button and cycle through all the modes. needing this for a stargazing night, so don't want the white light to ruin it.

and ideally i can get to the red light mode straight away,

that is one of the postives of the H35R over sofirn's other models. the red light mode can be accessed straight away, without needing to cycle through white light. I don't use the red light often but it can definitely access red from off, I think it was hold from off.

other reasons to go with Sofirn H35R are: adjustable red light brightness, and very long battery life. the red has adjustable brightness and can get really really bright. the Blukar only has one brightness for red light mode, and it's very dim to the point of wanting to turn it up one step straight away, but you can't at all.

      • thanks!

just fyi because you might be tempted by similar looking sofirn's that might be a bit cheaper.

only the H35R has access to red directly.

also can confirm tested it just now. hold from off turns on red light. then hold again to change red brightness. and when cycling on and off red also keeps memory level of brightness just like white mode.
