Is this good comparing to other brands?
Not a huge headphone user but tempted to get this to replace my old Edifier. Got the W860NB some 4 years ago on a similar deal (paid $82.5 when RRP showed $165). I just needed something to have when flying once a quarter for work stuff. Drowns out the airplane noises and the sound quality is great for watching Netflix. Even taken it with me on international flights with a bluetooth dongle and cant really complain. My only comparison is probably with the Galaxy Buds 2 and the Edifier wins by a margin.
I've got 5 kids, and they blow through headphones like nobody's business. They've had sony, plantronics, JBL and various wired ones. I bought them the w800bt back in March and they have lasted longer than any of the other brands. All 5 are still in good condition and with no flaking off of the cushions. The kids all say the noise cancellation is the best they've had either that or they are ignoring me when I ask them to do their chores…
I would recommend.
