Can the OP detail what fees and charges are applicable to this ‘deal’ ? Thanks

    • Probably the same that apply to just about every other uber eats order, which vary?

Who cares, you can stay drunk, get Uber to bring you more and just keep on goin..

Uber throws deals around that are very rarely cheaper than getting the item yourself, in an attempt to get you hooked.. you then might progress to the regular $25 'cold' Big Mac meal to go with your booze.

Only checked for the very first Pepper Jack, seems that the stated price (before discount) are very inflated.
Pepperjack Cabernet Sauvignon 750ml $18.60 (down from $31) and is sold in many places around 18-19 dollars. $19.95 as normal, none discounted price at DM.
Add what ever fees and delivery Uber charges = certainly no bargain!!!

It'll vary by product, for example the following are cheaper than in store at Liquorland
The Ned Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc $11, in store $18
      Lana's Bike Rose $8.50, in store $14
Punter's Corner Cab Sauv $12.50, vs instore $20

You can get them much cheaper with the 6 bottle bundle pricing, as an example, Lanas Bike Rose works out to $6.66 per bottle doing it this way and NO hidden fees (direct from LL) plus you'll earn some flybuys as a little bonus (all adds up).
Not worth it with all their ridiculous Delivery Fees AND "Service Fees", not to mention their inflated pricing on everything, because they charge stores a 30% fee, which is why item prices are inflated AF to cover that 30% fee.
No wonder Menulog is shutting down here, I think people are getting sick of these delivery companies taking the pi$$.
Still better off getting it yourself from the store instead of being a lazy sod. And it's not hard to find a Liquorland or Dans close to most people.

Basically all deals on Uber after taking into account inflated prices, service fees, seasonal fees, fees on fees, you rarely come out on top.

I suspect the laziness of today's society is the reason most have a cost of living crisis.

An example, a kebab from my local : $12.50 in store, $14 on menulog, $18 on Uber and $19 on Doordash. So even a 25%- 30% discount is not really a discount.
Sadly most people are too stupid to realise this.

      • Couldn't have said it any better!

      • lazy tax. back then was going milkbar instead 'safeway' lol.
but i didn't mind supported the dude who also lived there.

  • stocked up several yeras back on veuve and champage… 30% off. like case worth lol.
they workd it out pretty quick.
    no such deals nowadays.
