  • great find

    • Yes, great price indeed.

I also noticed when I click on the link, the Amazon page is offering a further $20 discount, just have to click redeem. It might be a targeted thing, maybe something to do with prime membership? But I just thought I'd mention it, in case it shows up for others too.

  • This, Bambino Plus or Delonghi Dedica Maestro Plus?

    • +1

how much space do you have and do you routinely steam your milk?

reckon if you favour milk drinks this's great if you have the benchspace, otherwise bambino

  • -1

    110 to 120 Volts

Looking :sus:, oz electricity is 240v

  • How does this compare with bambino plus?

    • +1

From this what I've searched Bambino Plus wins over only with milk steaming features and size and pretty much that's it. Personally I think the Infuser is much better machine including the build (Bambino feels more like a toy), heated group set (plastic in Bambino), adjustable temp (4 degrees down and 4 degrees up), you can control pre-insfusing time (as much as you want), you have hot water spout, the pressure gauge, better portafilter quality.
Long story short - if you care about milk steaming then go with Bambino but if you are espresso lover - go with Infuser no doubts.

  • Duo Temp Pro is basically the same machine without the gauge, minus temp adjustment (set to 93 degrees but does have PID and holds the temp like a champ back-to-back) and minus hot water spout. Currently $260 at Big W. I also confirmed with Breville tech support - it does have OPV set to 9 bar.

I believe the Duo Temp Pro does not automatically stop extraction based on volume/time.

      • Yeah, you have to turn the dial back when you want it to stop extracting. Means you can't do something else while extracting, which can be annoying if you're making multiple coffees.

        • Does that also means it doesn't "pre-infuse"?

      • @mattisrad @murbeau Thanks so much guys for posting this information! I went to the Breville website and got a further 10% off as you said, so the total price was only $359.10, with free shipping and 2x 250g coffee beans for free!

It's an amazing price, especially since everywhere I researched, before making the purchase, all said it's a very solid machine. I was planning on getting the Bambino Plus, next time it went on sale, but the reviews and information I found on The Infuser model, helped me decide that this machine is a better option for me.

        Cheers! 🏆👍🍻
