Question Re: Black Friday Budget Gaming PC

Hey everyone. My pc recently (~3 months ago) died and I've been wondering what to do. Given its age (1050ti etc) I figured a new pc is probably more worthwhile.

Having said that, my budget is only around $1400 and from what I've seen of current Black Friday deals, there's nothing that great deal-wise around the $1k-1.4k range.

Fwiw I'm in Melbourne but not completely opposed to getting in shipped.

Tl;dr what is the likelihood of better Black Friday prebuilt deals than what is currently available in the ~$1-1.4k range?

I expect probably not but curious what you lot think, thank you!

Low given ram prices are as much as a cpu if not more.

    Interested in building your own?

  • Yeah you're going to have a rough time with that given the current climate. You might be better off just trying to replace what specifically died in your existing PC and just keep plugging away with that for the time being.

  • look at previous deals here, like nebula. then just subscribe and wait for something to appear on ozb

1400, half of that will be sucked up buying 32gb of ram at the minute

dont expect it to get better, if its ram now…it will be ssds next…..then graphics cards again

  • You can still get a good descent PC for 1080P or even 1440P for that budget

https://au.pcpartpicker.com/list/yvZWWc - CPU from Aliexpress total of 1.3K
