I was going to buy this IKEA 365+ SS cookware set on Friday with the 30% off sale. I can't afford to buy an all-clad or MadeIn set right now, and I need something to get us off the non-stick pots we're currently using. Already have 2x SENSUELL fry pans (I adore them, for the price) and I know the 365+ is a lower quality. I need a couple sizes of saucepan and also a larger stockpot, so the 365+ set will meet my needs on that end. The Amazon kit has frypans which will go unused/be donated as I am very happy with the SENSUELL pans.

Can anyone speak to which set is better in terms of the quality of the pan build? Again, I know these sets are both on the cheap end, but I need a stop gap while I save up for a better set.

Or a different kit that's better for a relatively similar price?

    • Lids are glass/see through on the Amazon kit if it makes a difference to you.

      • I far prefer metal lids - so much easier to clean as no crevices for gunk or water to get stuck in.

Then better to stack with IKEA gift cards + in app 10% off (Is this still active?) and black friday sales.

@ATangk: App 10% discount expires tomorrow before the Black Friday sales starts.

11 piece set is definitely the better pick of the 2. It has additional 10" frypan in the cookware.

The 15 piece set has 5 spoons/ladles which dilutes value.

    • interesting there appears to be a quality difference..
      11 piece set says:
Suitable for use on stovetops and induction tops; oven safe up to 260 degrees C

      15 piece set says:
Suitable for use on stovetops and induction tops; oven safe up to 500 degrees C

This suggests they're not the same quality?

It just says degrees. Thats because the latter is in Farenheit.

        260C = 500F

The rest of them are also metric/imperial. 1.5qt =~ 1.4L.

        • My bad, you're right!

        • makes sense, only realised the temp difference while posting the deal and was starting to think I bought an inferior quality product. Thanks for pointing out and providing some piece of mind

  • Bought the 11 pieces 2 years ago. Extremely good.
Also had a $20 cashback on top

  • How does this compare to Scanpan which we've had for years?

  • This 'Homichef' set was suggested on the same page and seems comparible. Any experience with either from anyone?

Some of the neg reviews are worrying. The stainless is of inferior quality perhaps?

  • I'm looking to get off non sticks too and was about to pull the trigger on the Calphalon set on sale at Costco for 289.

Does anyone have experience with that brand?
