  • Really good deal specially if you were keeping an eye for Qrevo edge. Basically the same vaccum with different dock design.

    • Yes, that was what I was told by a Roborock salesperson in store. The robot has the same specs for both the Edge C and the Curv. Just the dock is different because some people prefer the curve to match their interior house design.

      • I personally got the Dreame L40 pro ultra at $1000 from Jbhifi. But this or qrevo edge was my first preference.

        • I have been waiting dreame L40 pro ultra to drop to 1000. How do you get the price? Can share the receipt for price matching?

            • @Ptl007: Dreame L40s Pro ultra is latest one… the one you shared is old L40s ultra

          • @MUMU888: I just went to my local Jbhifi and asked if they can lower the price. Here is the receipt:
            https://files.ozbargain.com.au/upload/316032/125669/screensh…
Be prepared to signup for additional warranty thingy, but you can cancel it later as you get 15 days as change of mind for it

            • @MXsoul: Thats not Dreame L40 pro ultra that Dreame L40S pro ultra

              • @SpaceNinja: I dont think we have dreame L40 pro ultra model in Australia . My mistake of not putting 'S' above but this L40s pro ultra is latest one and bit better compared to L40 ultra,or L40s ultra AE

Tbh these names and series are confusing

            • @MXsoul: Thanks - any chance you could provide the date in the screenshot, or the receipt #? Ive just tried to get it price matched and they have asked for that for some reason.

      • Just the dock is different because some people prefer the curve to match their interior house design.

Do people actually think this Curv looks good? Looks like something straight out of the 90s where funny-shaped alien-looking things were cool.

I'd rather the much more "industrial" look of the standard Qrevo docks.

        • I don’t like the exposed tops of bins on other Roborock designs. The curv hides them

      • I keep thinking the Curv looks like it's related to a kid's porta potty

      • The edge c does not have the adaptilift chassis to climb over thresholds like the plain “edge”.
But edge series have a bigger water tank etc in the dock.

The equivalent of this curv is the “edge” that can climb thresholds too.

    • Just a quick note for those like me who don’t know much about these high end models and was put off by no auto detergent dispenser. You can still use detergent with this model, you just need to add it to the clean water reservoir manually.

    • I only have timber floor, should I go with Qrevo L @579 or this one?

  • Thanks OP! been eying this for a while now and almost bought it for $1,399.00… thanks again.

    • I bought it for 1399…

returning it and getting it at 999

bloody amazon doesn't have price guarantee on there own products lol

      • I did the same.
        And bought 2.

  • What TF. Just spent 1099 to get the edgec. This one is better and was 1399.

  • Ohh. Not the curvx :(

    • Is the curvx even available in Oz? Seem to have gone strait to the curv pro 2 which is a roller mop.

    • Curvx vs Curv:

Do you want a retracting lidar? That's the main question because the rest is not a significant difference.

The dust bin in the CurvX has gotten smaller too, which was already considered pretty small in the Curv.

  • I’m so confused by all the roborocks

    • me to

they have almost a dozen models at varying prices……all I want is a one that does what its supposed to do….its a lot of money to spend purely for convenience

      • I felt the same thing when I was first looking at them. I ended up going with the Q5 pro which had a good price at costco. I went with a cheaper one (~$500) because I didn't know if I would like it that much or if it would do a good job.

Now I fully regret not going for something higher end. Not because mine is bad, but because it is so good. Not only is it more convenient than vacuuming myself but honestly it does a way better job at getting all the dust. We also run it more often than we would usually vacuum.

I really want to upgrade to a higher model like the Qrevo Curv but it seems silly to upgrade so soon while my one is working fine.

Just as a disclaimer, my house only has wooden floors so I can't comment on their carpet ability.

    • This is a flagship model, has camera for better obstacle avoidance, hot water and flexi-arm sweeping and mopping.

    • Me too. I’ve been holding since they released the S7, and I found this one is much better - @ $999, it’s an absolute steal!

      • I also upgraded to the Curv from the S7, definitely a big improvement - unfortunately I bought it at the last sale for $1499.

  • This doesn't come with detergent tank? The website for roborock gives a lot of false information.

    • For roborock, it's only the premium models that do that like Saros

  • Double-checking, does this model support Matter? I know the Roborock Home Assistant integration is pretty good, but hoping the Matter models have slightly better local features

  • Good enough for me, thanks OP!

  • Is this a good choice for hybrid floors (including mopping)?

    • Hope so because just bought at this amazing price.

Was about to pull the pin on the L50 ultra from TGGC @$1289 but $300 less is $300 less.

  • This or EUFY E25 omni?

  • I had bought the Tapo RV50 Pro Omni for around $750 from JB. Fortunately, still in the box. At this price for the Curv, looks like the RV50 is going back to JB!

  • If you aren't fussed about the dock shape, the Qrevo C is $699 at Costco and I think it's functionally equivalent

    • I'm considering returning mine from Costco to get this Curv…
      https://roborockstore.com.au/products/roborock-qrevo-c?srslt…

What I've found so far during the weekend was that the obstacle avoidance is sub-par for the Qrevo C. Needed to remove it from being stuck at least 2x for a whole house clean.

    • No, this Curv is way better than the C. Definitely worth the $300 difference. I even considered it when it was $1399 just this morning.
      https://roborockstore.com.au/pages/compare-robotic-vacuum-cl…

      • Yeah I thought so.. Thanks xdh for pushing me over the edge to proceed and buy the Curv. :)

      • What makes it 'way better', just raw suction power? If you have hard floors you don't need extreme suction power to do the job.

        • You can click on the link I provided and compare it yourself.

It has bigger battery, flexiarm side brush, intelligence dirt detection, chasis lifting, hot water mop, a camera etc.

          • @xdh: Curious on the bigger battery. How big of a house do you need before the battery even comes into play. If I vacuum the entire floor of my house and it barely goes below 10%. Now I have a relatively small house but it feels like you'd need a palace to run out during a clean.

            • @bubbleboom: Haven’t owned it myself so I’m not sure, but extra battery capacity is always nice, especially once the battery starts aging after a year or two.

          • @xdh: Other than the battery, the rest are 'nice to have' options. Whether they are worth an extra $300 is debatable.

            • @mooghost43: Well, robot vacuums are "nice to have" devices to begin with. In my case, I was already considering the Qrevo C and CPro for the extra ~$150 just to get the hot water mopping. So paying another $150 for the Curv with all the additional features feels like a no brainer. You might not personally value those features, but I'd say most people probably would.

              • @xdh: They are 'nice to have' features as they are not required to perform the task effectively and cover edge cases at best. $300 at xmas on the other hand offers plenty of benefit for most people, I'd say.

    • Incorrect, the Curv is equivalent to the Qrevo edge. Both are flagship models and sit above the Qrevo C.

  • I've already googled this, but does anyone have tangible feedback on how these work in a primarily carpet home? Got a stick vacuum which has been fine, however wondering whether these are fierce competitors and can replace a traditional person-led vacuum

    • No, they cannot send anyone telling you otherwise is not being honest.

They are good for maintenance though

      • Ah ok, so more-so a supplement to lessen frequency of deep vacuums?

        • Exactly and I'd still recommend it because it does a good job of maintaining the clean house.

          • @BarginGrabber: It depends how fastidious you are. I used vacuum our carpets 1-2 times a week with a stick and completely replaced that with a much cheaper robot than this. I haven’t felt the need to hand vacuum. Although I do miss being prompted to do a quick wipe of surfaces I used to do when vacuuming.

We got a Mova one for around $400 that works pretty well. It is one of the those that says it mops but doesn’t really.

We are upgrading to this one to try a proper mopping robot for mixed floors.

    • Robot vacs generally perform poorly with carpet. When i run my stick vacuum i will still pick up a fair amount of dust. It can help reduce the need to vacuum regularly but don't expect it to replace a stick or corded vacuum for carpets.

    • No. The Curv is equivalent to the Edge, which is currently $1499. It has bigger battery, flexiarm side brush, auto deterrent dispenser, intelligence dirt detection, chasis lifting, a camera, stronger suction power. Do yourself a favour and grab the Curv!

      • You're right, only thing worth noting is that it does not have the auto detergent dispenser + suction is the same with the other model.

        • Ah yes, same suction power. According to their website, it does have auto detergent dispenser but it might be wrong.

          • @xdh: I looked it up on their AU store website and auto detergent is not listed there for me.

If you try Saros 10R page, it is listed there. My understanding is that they only do auto detergent for their premium top models for whatever reason.

Regards, the dilution factor is like 1ml detergent every 140ml water (or something like that) so pretty much non-existent tbh.

            • @BarginGrabber: They list it there when I compare the Curv with any other model.

              • @xdh: Yep, just saw it too. It has auto degergent

Grabbed one and returning my Qrevo L

                Thanks op!

                • @sirs2k: The Roborock Qrevo Curv does not have an automatic detergent dispenser.
Instead, the robot vacuum is designed for you to add cleaning solution manually to the clean water tank, or to use its auto detergent dispenser feature in models that have it (like the Qrevo Master), where it automatically mixes the detergent. The Roborock Qrevo Curv is compatible with both clean water only and robot-specific detergents, which are designed to work safely with the vacuum's components and prevent damage.

                  Automatic vs. manual detergent:

Automatic: Some high-end models, like the Roborock Qrevo Master, feature an automatic detergent dispenser that adds the correct amount of solution to the clean water tank.

Manual: The Qrevo Curv requires you to manually add the detergent to the clean water tank before each use

                  • @Ijasah saya palsu: I watched a few reviews and look like this one doesn't have it. Still a very good deal imo.

  • For anyone that doesn't know - Commbank currently has an offer for Amazon. $15 back on a $100 spend.
Be sure to check your app.

    • That offer ends in 5 days, and based on when this will be shipped, it'll miss the purchase.
You may be better off buying a $100 GC to earn the cashback and use the credit towards the purchase.

  • Tempting…

Edit: pulled the trigger, delivery says around dec 4 to 12th. So have time to think if i really need it

    • As a robot vacuum owner - you do, you do really need it. It will be the closest thing to changing your life

  • Thanks OP. I asked them for a price match immediately. They agreed and refunded me the difference. Everyone should do this if you order from previous post at a higher price.

    • Do you do this via Amazon (in your order details) or did you have to contact Roborock directly?

    • I too would like to know how?

I went to Amazon & they say under "Help"

      Better price found elsewhere

We strive to maintain low and competitive prices on everything sold by Amazon. We do not offer post purchase adjustments for better prices found elsewhere.

      • The keyword is elsewhere.

        • So how do I talk to them?

It seems silly to return the one I have & buy another one - but $400 is $400

          • @chalks1971: Talk to customer support and ask for a partial refund, might need a few attempts. If they keep refusing, buy a new unit and initiate a refund for the old one (double check the postage fee though, it isn't always free). They would normally refund the difference.

            • @xdh: I just returned the old one and got a new one.

no one would budge for a price difference.

just got mine last week as well YMMV

          • @chalks1971:

It seems silly to return the one

I agree, but the good thing with Amazon is returns are usually free. Do you still have the box it came in? Amazon will give you a QR code, you simply scan the QR code at Au Post and they'll take care the rest for you (i.e. shipping , tracking etc free of charge). But of course, getting the partial refund would be the most ideal. Let me know you go!

            • @ezza80: Yep. Does it matter that Ive used it?

              • @chalks1971: Oh I think its a different story if its used. Perhaps go down the route of what @Pasagas did and ask for a refund of the difference. Would be good if @Pasagas can advise how he/she arranged the partial refund for the price match. Cheers!

    • Bought it for $1499 on 12 Oct 2025. Return window closed 14 Nov. Saw this price drop and decided to speak on chat. Despite being well outside the return period, they agreed to a one-time exception: I will return my unit and have already repurchased it for $999. Saved $500! Thank OP!

      • Does this mean they will have a lot used returns lol 😅

        • I may return the brand-new unopened box instead of my 1-month-old model.

  • Should point out that delivery isn’t until mid December.

  • Keen to understand how this would compare to the Dreame L10s Ultra. It’s just over double the price based on Amazon’s current sale prices…

    • This is much closer to dreame L40s lineup( ultra / Ultra PRO / Ultra AE)

      • What is differences between l40 and l20?

        How is moping?

  • Thanks OP…been wanting to buy one…finally pulled the trigger…review looks amazing and judging from comments, this is a buy.

  • Thanks OP, time to move my S7 MaxV Ultra upstairs.

    • I’ve been holding off on buying one since the S7 model, but after comparing all the robot vacuums, I finally decided on this one - price is also good for those specs.

  • I bought this in July for $2000.
Its good machine, but it's $1000 down :(

    • Looks like monkey will start grumpy for quite a while

  • Keep the $497 Qrevo L or spend double and get this Qrevo Curv?
