    Does that MCF mean amazon drivers do the last mile delivery? It says they use blank boxes.

      Amazon orders are delivered by Amazon drivers? Maybe that's a Sydney thing? It's all Auspost here.

      MCF isn't particularly new and has been used by sellers on eBay etc for years. I'm just highlighting it after many people said there's no such thing.

        Yeah, they have Amazon Flex drivers delivery in Sydney, part of why they can do same day Prime deliveries.

        While I get some AliExpress sellers use MCF or a delivery partner which supports Amazon MCF, I wouldn't claim that MCF will be used.

        I was expecting Amazon MCF on an item which some OZBers indicated they were delivered using Amazon MCF previously, mine wasn't delivered by Amazon. It was delivered by AusPost so still good.

          MCF doesn't mean that the driver delivering your order is going to be an Amazon driver, like from Flex that's been listed above. Amazon use multiple delivery partners including Auspost.

          Send all or some of your inventory directly to an Amazon fulfilment centre. When customers purchase products on your website or another third-party sales channel, we receive your orders and pick, pack, and ship them directly to your customers.

          Basically FBA without having a store on Amazon. You can get MCF plans where you have both your own store front and an Amazon store front. Reolink did this where AliExpress, Amazon and eBay would sell out at the same time due to stock being at Amazon.

            @Clear: It wasn't MCF for mine. The item wasn't delivered from Amazon fulfilment centre (AusPost provided the full journey info). If that was Amazon MCF, then Amazon must have lost the plot and sent the item to the opposite side of the state and then asked AusPost to pick it up (Amazon doesn't have a warehouse there at all). Amazon has consistently delivered items to me using its own drivers. I also had Amazon items delivered by Amazon the day before and two days later.

            Checking Amazon MCF pricing, it isn't a suitable long term solution for sellers. Furthermore, the reason I pointed out MCF previously was OZBers mentioned they had their items delivered by Amazon (and some of them even mentioned Amazon couldn't be bothered using blank boxes and used Amazon's packaging boxes).

              @netsurfer: People forget that outside of metro VIC and NSW there's no Amazon drivers. There's not fulfilment centres in every state.

              It's possible for sellers to still have stock here without using Amazon.

              This store specifically was setup by AliExpress themselves with MCF.

                It's possible for sellers to still have stock here without using Amazon.

                I reckon that was what happened. Too many OZBers bought that item, and the item is bulky. My guess is that it was more that the seller didn't have enough in Amazon warehouse. Amazon MCF is not a long term solution for sellers selling large number of items in multiple marketplace.

                I know someone who sells on items on Amazon, eBay and has his own online store. He only let Amazon deliver the items purchased through Amazon.

                    @Clear: Okay, I guess given CPUs are small / tiny items, hopefully they will be sent using Amazon MCF. AliExpress AU manager can't enforce Amazon MCF must be used.

                    Just an FYI: this deal you posted before, that wasn't delivered by Amazon. Amazon MCF isn't cheap. Once these Chinese sellers establish relationship with local logistics providers here, they will use them to keep the cost down.

    interested to know if anyone bought this and received the item ? I'm first time buying a CPU, and it arrived today in a cheap AusPost paper packaging (not even in a cardboard box) without the original box, though it does look safe and sound sitting inside a plastic clamshell case holder for CPU. My order also took more than a week to arrive (ordered on the 27 Nov), but I expected it to arrive earlier as it is a local stock from my understanding.

    While the CPU looks legit, but I am still a bit worry with the authenticity of the chip (especially coming from AliExpress and in a packaging like this). Keen to hear what other people's experience are with their orders. Thank you.

      These are OEM tray packaged CPUs that are supplied to system builders, as opposed to retail boxed units intended to be on a store shelf display. The CPUs themselves are identical to the retail box units and will work fine.
